Can take 26650, 18650, and 3xAA cells Solid build Perfect anodizing SS Bezel Capable Thrower
CONS
Packaging could be better
I've been a fan of the Convoy line of flashlight. They offer the best value for money with great performance. This light is no exception. The fantastic thing about this light is that it can take various types of cells, which makes it very ideal in situations wherein you would be forced to take other cells asides from the ones you would normally use it for. (26650, 18650, 3xAA)With that said, performance-wise this light is no slouch, with performance almost identical to the popular C8, you can be sure this light can throw. The SS on the bezel is a good touch, I would have wanted that all Convoy lights use this as it will make the light more durable to survive high drops and overall usage. It is not big in the hand, just typical to regular D-cell flashlights. Reflector is SMO (smooth) without any noticeable artifacts or defects. It would have been nice if the glass had AR coating to give it more performance. I would definitely recommend this light to anybody looking for a good performance multi-cell capable flashlight. It is definitely a must-have for the flashlight collector (like me)

Extremely sturdy, solid build high amp / fast-charging beefy power cord charges fast but doesn't cause batteries to heat up excessively
CONS
only two ports, four port version would be best usb port doesn't function without AC power (can't be used as a power bank. get the UM2 if you want a charger/power bank) lighter/accessory jack for car is not included (sold separately) display screen might be confusing to new users
I have been purchasing Nitecore's chargers for so long now, they were originally branded as "Jetbeam". I have them all, The I4, D4, UM2, etc, etc, etc... I am glad to report that all of them are built solid and work well to this day. This SC2 is no exception, it is actually the most solid build of them all, and has the best features such as fast charging which is a big bonus if you want to charge large capacity cells in a rush. I was a bit misled by the USB port as I thought this might be able to be used as a power bank, unfortunately, it only functions when it is plugged into a power source. The only issue I had was that this was not offered in a 4-cell option. Just for your appreciation on how fast it can charge, the default 2A charging can charge my Panasonic 18650 3100mAh cells from 2.7V to 4.2V in under 2 hours. Normal chargers would take 4 to 6 hours. The great thing about this fast charger is that the batteries do not run hot because of all the protection circuitry designed to make it safe while charging fast. Kudos to Nitecore for this. I would not recommend using faulty or generic cells as the high amperage might pose an issue due to the high charging current. (explosion) There is a warning insert that came with the charger, I suggest you read it to prevent accident.

PROS
durable (mine's over a year old now) dual output, one 2A and 1A interchangeable cells, so keep charging your devices! will charge even with 1*18650 so not an issue when in a bind!
CONS
charging port is neither micro nor mini usb so you have to bring the charging cable with you all the time.
Since the era of smartphones and tablets are upon us, the need to have portable charging is crucial to every gadgeteer's pack, having this and spare 18650's will ensure that you can keep charging all day, for several days. I've actually gone about a week without electricity and I have been able to charge my smartphones, (take note plural), pocket wifi and even gave friends the chance to charge their phones with the dual output ports. Choosing the cells however will determine the performance of this charger, use crappy cells, you get crappy performance. I personally use Panasonic 18650's (SKU 114110) and have an extra set just for spare. In a pinch (long power outages) I use two 18650's at a time, as I notice, I am able to fully charge my Note 2 phone on just two cells. I've also used all four 18650 cells constantly charging my pocket wifi (connected to the 1A port) and it lasted from morning until late in the evening and I still had enough juice to charge my Note 2 for about 76% power. Having the option to replace cells is better than the other portable chargers that end up being "dead bricks" when they run out of juice. I would recommend this product to anybody looking for the ultimate DIY portable USB charger.

Enables you to change cells to keep charging devices. two ports to charge two devices at the same time. battery display shows current charge levels and how much power left. easy to use. good build quality.
CONS
both ports charge at approx 1A and not 2A as indicated.
This is a good 2x18650 charger, probably one of the better ones out there. The only drawback i found was that it doesn't charge at 2A as indicated in the description. I guess pushing 2A on 2x18650's might be pushing the cells too much which might result in undesired results. Overall, no regrets with purchase, but will still search for a true 2A USB Charger (2x18650 format)

PROS
Immediate access to strobe Extremely bright for a single 18650 light Sturdy build Plentiful accessories Comes with 3100mAh protected cell (Klarus brand)
CONS
has PWM on the lowest mode (horrible)
I have always been a fan of the technology used by the XT series of Klarus lights. The only reason I have held off purchasing this since years back was due to the prevalence of PWM on all of their lights. Since I use the light for more than just its maximum output, PWM on the lower modes pose a problem for me. If I spend several hours using the light, I suffer from nausea and dizziness due to the PWM. Even if the pulsing of the light is invisible to the naked eye, it affects me after being illuminated by this light for several hours. I had initially assumed that this light no longer had PWM, but unfortunately, found that it still had this perennial issue on the light's lowest mode for this flashlight brand. So if you plan to use this light for tactical use and keep it on its max and high modes, this should not bother you. It is a good package for the light. Enough to suffice newbies to flashlights because the light has all you need for it to run: battery, micro usb charging port, usb cable, etc which enables it to function independently in lieu of a battery charger or any other devices needed to keep the light going. You can charge the light of a USB port on the computer or using your cell phone's charger. For those of you planning to make your first purchase of next-generation flashlights and you do not have any accessories whatsoever, this is a good start for you. It will not disappoint. I am a flashlight collector of several years now, I have seen the lights evolve over the years which is why I am quite critical on flaws I find in the design but don't let that deter you from this great light, it is a good buy, may not be the best, but good enough to start with for a tactical flashlight.
