This is good wire. The resistance is much lower than kanthal is. It's more similar to nichrome. This wire is excellent in drippers and perfect for mechs. It heats up fast and burns cleaner than other wire. It is useless in tanks in vw mode. You will get burnt hits. The coils gum up almost instantly because it heats up too fast for wicking to keep up consistently in most tanks. The evic mini now has ss temp control and the wire works well in tanks if you use that feature with a spaced coil. It was worth a try.
