PROS
OEM quality Great price
CONS
No USB cable
Was expecting a clone by the looks of the picture but the one I received was official Sony exactly like the ones that come with it. Even has Sony labels and numbers that match the original exactly. No USB cable for setup and charging but I suspect most people already have a couple hanging around, I did

PROS
Cheap
CONS
Unreliable Not instructions for setup
I bought two of these for an aquatic robot and one fried the second time out. I replaced with a pair of known brand 30 amp ESC and it's been working ever since. I was lucky I didn't burn up the battery pack but it was scorching was only cosmetic These are essentially half the price but when you have to buy two to get one that works it's not such a great deal afterall

PROS
Small size Easy hookup
I used this to convert a RS-232 NMEA signal from a fish/depth finder and feed it into an Arduino Mega clone (also bought here) to eventually be logged to an SD card along with GPS coordinates. This little drop in circuit paid for itself several times over in time savings over breadboarding a DIP version of this chip. I have another I want to hook to a Bluetooth serial transceiver and make the finder send depth and temperature data to any of my Bluetooth enabled devices, especially the Win8.1 Pro tablet with built in GPS I have my depth mapping software on.

PROS
Bright Readout Good Value
This works very nice for testing USB ports and USB devices for current draw and proper voltage, as well as testing power adapters for voltage and current as well as checking the charge circuit in devices to make sure it's changing charge states (charge to trickle). I now wish I had gotten two because at this price I'd like to hack one with a female micro-USB on the input and a short cord with a male micro-USB connector on the output for checking charge cables for voltage and current drop under a load.
