PROS
Well built
Good detailing (very close to original)
Everything self-adjusts
Big slots look very cool
|
CONS
Positive pin assembly is plated, not solid copper
Can't figure out what the top cap thread pitch is
|
This was my first mech and it was the perfect choice. No fiddling whatsoever - everything self-adjusts (battery rattle, pin to atty, etc.) and it's effortlessly fired everything I've put on it. Whenever I have an atty that won't work in the mod I'm using, I put it on my First, and POOF it works! The engraving and slots on the back are very sexy. Batteries peek through - I covered the bottom of my batts with metallic red vinyl and it looks awesome. Very well built. Everything specs out to the original to a T, down to what is/isn't reverse-threaded. The springs (one on the top cap, one at the switch) are nice and beefy. The switch is medium firm - not a touch switch like the Paps or Vapelyfe, but not so hard that it'll give you tendonitis - just firm enough to stand up unlocked without firing, even with a Squape R.
My only gripe is that the positive pin parts are lightly plated steel - I would've preferred solid copper. But noticed very little decrease in performance once the plating wore off. Also, still haven't been able to figure out what the thread pitch is, to be able to hybrid it. It's not 20x1, and neither Stingray nor Nemi adapters work with it. But the top cap makes it hassle-free, so it's all good.

PROS
Well built
Black fills in the engraving
Polished brass, not gold plated

This is one sexy RDA. Great quality - everything fits nicely as it should, feels very solid and well-machined. Hits great, nice vapor and flavor, even with my janky dual coil builds...and very photogenic! :D
It doesn't get to play out much though, because it's just too pretty for its own good.

This drip tip is a little skinnier than I like them (11mm is my magic number), but the crown logo is adorable. Love the double o-rings - they make it really feel like a quality product when you put it on your atty.

These top caps are great. I use the shorter one more than the taller one, but they're both awesome. They make the frumpy, ho-hum, run-of-the-mill KF look so sexy! I use them with the KF v4 mtanks.

I don't have a Nemesis, but ordered this anyway because I thought it might come in handy for parts. Luckily I had it when I discovered that the 650 and 500 tubes of my Vapelyfe mod were about 4mm too long for my flat top batts. Didn't want to use magnets, so I took this unit apart and now use the insulator part and middle pin assembly as a spacer. Works great. Thick though, so if your gap isn't as wide as mine, it probably wouldn't work for you.
