Been using this for a month now at work to drill holes in heavy steel. I drill a 4mm pilot hole then use this up to 9mm. After 20+ holes, the bit is still sharp, no chips in the edge have formed, and I think it will last at least 6 months of frequent use. Only negative I can see is that the gold finish comes off but that's purely cosmetic. Would buy again
