I have been using the Itaste SVD for 2 years, and have not had a single issue with it.
I use Panasonic 18650 batteries in it, and it is paired with a Protank 2 using 2.5 ohm coils.
It is very large and heavy, so not much use for stealth vaping or carrying around outside.
Just get one!

If anything goes wrong with a device like this, you have to toss the whole thing.
I had 2 issues - constant leaking & inconsistent charging.
Some people have overcome the leaking issues with the rba base by trial&error adjustments to the wick.
But for an expensive device like this, there should be zero issues out of the box.
I won't buy a box mod again.
