PROS
Tolerates heat better than 22mm version Much larger build area Single coil friendly if desired
CONS
Teensy weensy missed spot in the finish Small outer air hole like all Veritas clones Screws and nuts not stainless
First off, the coating is not brass, so don't worry about that. It has some very nice build options on the much larger deck. It has the same issue as all the other Veritas clones where the outer air hole is much smaller than the inner air hole, so you gotta drill or file it out a bit. The negative screws are M2 if you want to replace them. The nuts are M2.5.

PROS
Heatsinks! (they work) Good box, not damaged in 3 weeks to reach me Nice to see new designs, so tired of plain metal tube Hybrid (use protruding/adjustable atty pin) Got here before St. Patrick's Day!
CONS
Had to buy a M7x0.5 tap before I could use this Annoying to find coin to change battery Now I can't stand to buy plain metal tubes anymore :(
Bad news then good news. The 510 threads were all wrong. Too small, nothing could fit on this mod. I ordered a M7x0.5 tap which I should have done a long time ago. It was my first time threading a hole, but I watched a youtube video and went slowly and it came out well. I used the tap wrench from the FT tap die set, just needed to buy the right tap elsewhere. Good news. After rethreading the 510, I have had no further mechanical problems. I personally don't prefer the entire SMPL-ish switch line because I don't always forget to trim my fingernails. I shouldn't need a tool (even a coin) to change my batteries. It works though. Fiddled around with my voltmeter a bit. It works best if you screw the screw in firmly and screw the switch threads in fully, so pretty much like any other switch design. Now keep in mind this is aluminum and brass, so don't expect it to hit like a copper mod, but it's not too far behind. The heatsinks are actually really sweet. I don't regret my purchase because it made me get off my bum long enough to l2thread a hole, and I got a pretty sweet reward for it. Gonna rock this on St. Patrick's Day!

Very pleased with this. Wasn't expecting great results for the price, but it works well! It's reviving all my old scissors, including the titanium ones.

Clean
Bought these as general spare screws. m2.5 threaded, plating looks good. 9mm total length, 3mm of that is the head. The head also has a few m3 threads in it.

PROS
Excellent for springy wire builds
CONS
Rods can pop out of the handles Heat can damage the handle if not careful
These aren't needed for normal builds, but for those very springy wires that like to deform the coil the second you take a normal mandrel out. Extremely useful when you really need it. Just try not to over-pulse or pulse the coil too close to the silicone handle, or it will get damaged.
