Almost half the price of most UK retailers
CONS
Internally different to my bundled controller Replacement sticks bought here will not fit (at time of review)
Bought as a spare, just because I had the money available, I jumped on the price-point because the UK stores are all generally asking £55 for one of them. Placed my order and eagerly awaited the postie. Arrived yesterday and the box was in the expected airmailed state, but the controller seemed completely unscathed. Plugged in the USB cable and it powered and synced with the system just fine, so I left it on charge for about 3 hours then started playing games with this controller. After about ten minutes of play it locked up (throttle left wide open and steering to the left whilst playing The Crew) and after a few moments powered off. Switched it back on and plugged it back into the usb cable. It was fine for about twelve minutes when it decided to do it again. I decided to put in the replacement battery bought from here, just to eliminate the battery being at fault, and whilst inside I could also replace the sticks and buttons with the metal ones bought here too. This is where I got suspicious of the pad's authenticity. The battery had no markings on it, had an uncanny resemblance to a mobile phone battery and was covered with just two shrink wraps, neither of which completely encased the cell. I removed this wrapping, trying to find some details, only to find a bare and unmarked metal case. The original Sony unit is a fully encased, hard plastic shell, emblazoned with Sony's name, battery details and even a QR code. Even the aftermarket replacements FT sells have these details (obviously without QR and Sony branding) The centre pins on the sticks were substantially thinner than expected, and this meant that the replacement sticks I purchased wouldn't fit in any way. So I put it all back together and decided to give it another chance using the replaced battery, but it did not resolve the issue. It's been on overnight charge and it still misbehaves, such a disappointment, but I guess this will be used for spares to zombie-mend the one I can absolutely confirm is an official one.

Superb design Quality metals Solid performer
CONS
Tank plastics (again)
When I pulled this out of the package I thought there had been a mistake, as this feels too solid to fit this price point. The metals are seriously high quality and confidently weighty, making this feel like a high quality product. It's such a shame this quality isn't matched in the tank plastics, as this is the only let-down in the entire device. That said, when assembled it looks like a glass tank, so all is not lost.

PROS
Two initial coils provided Air flow adjuster works well Great styling
CONS
Construction oil/goo No recommendations for/or availability of replacement coils Really needs a style matched spacer/vanity ring (which is not available)
The box and overall presentation is superb, foam insert to stop everything from shaking around in transit. Both coils were protected using silicone caps, which was nice but slightly impeded the removal of them from the package. After a thorough cleaning to remove the goo inside all the treads and the drip tip it was all ready to go, but filling it was a little bit of a strain. As it is completely encased, it was quite difficult to tell how much fluid I had put in without shining a light directly into it. Not something that could easily be fixed, but also not a massive issue really. What is an issue, for me at least, is the lack of a spacer ring for use with the E-Fire batteries. As this head uses the 510 connector it leaves E-go threading completely exposed, and a rather unsightly "gap" between the battery and the atty. I will be making something myself out of a drilled piece of cork, but would rather have been able to buy a style-matched item. Another, more serious, issue is the lack of readily available replacement coils. At present FT has not given any options for this, and have even brushed people off when making enquiries about them. Seriously bad form guys, GET THIS SORTED IMMEDIATELY! Other than these little quibbles, this atomizer is seriously good quality and vapes really well too.

Goth Cutlery, what's not to love!?
Following a year of use, I can say these have been perfect and well worth the money. I was expecting flaking, maybe even denting or breaking, but so far this set has been flawless.

PROS
Very high quality considering the price No skin discolouration after a solid week of wear
CONS
Temperature readings are faint, sometimes totally invisible
If you're hoping for very clear readings like those pictured, sorry you're unlikely to get that. You will get a faint reading every now and then based on your skin temperature, and depending on the climate it may even go beyond the readable temperature due to the weather contributing to this. At lower temperatures it is easier to read, though it's usually clearest below ambient skin temperatures (usually around 34-37) Perhaps it's one for use with the supplied necklace as a generic temperature reading device, but that kinda defies the reason for it's form.
