Grabbed this for use as a cheap and easy tank when I'm out and about; I don't like carrying expensive gear in public in case it gets dropped/broken/stolen/whatever. For what it is - a clone kanger subtank mini with better capacity - it's the best one out there. Never leaks, easy to build, easy to fill (whether via bottom fill or by using a separate topfill section), and I rarely have to worry about filling it anyway, since the capacity is so enormous. Is it the best vape in the world, of course not. Does it do the job in public without me having to worry for one second about my setup? Yup, does that perfectly.

I tossed this in the cart thinking it might be useful for doublechecking that I've got the same number of wraps when it comes to multi-coil builds, as I have a nasty habit of pulling a wrap out here and there and then forgetting whether I've done both evenly. This has definitely solved that issue, but it's also good for checking that your coils are evenly spaced for temp control builds. My builds have gotten much neater since I've had this around. One caveat - I'm left eye dominant, so I ended up switching the magnifier to the other side. Be careful if you decide to do this; there are only two screws holding the magnifier/light to the frame, but they are very small and very, very, *very* soft. I think they were originally phillips heads, but whomever/whatever assembled them in the factory torqued them in far too tightly - by the time mine was in my hands, the screws in question were an odd hybrid of phillips/hex that no screwdriver would fit. After finally getting them out and getting the magnifier where I wanted it, I used some similar sized SS phillips screws I had around. Wouldn't recommend even attempting to get the factory screws back in if you do decide to remove them.

These are just like the ones you can buy in your local pharmacy aisle, only at half the price. Durable, well constructed, the labels will stand up to a lot of wear, and the pill compartments are big enough to hold a good sized handful of any combination of pills you might require. (If you're lucky enough not to need a pill organizer, you might be surprised how many of them don't have compartments big enough to hold one of those potassium horse pills, for instance - this one will hold one of those with plenty of room to spare.) It's a little weird that the am compartments are blue and the pm ones are pink; the ones I can get locally are the reverse, so it took a few weeks to get used to these once I switched over to them, but such a minor detail is worth the cost savings, imo.

I've said it before on the forums, but this is a "marmite" mod... those that love it, love it, and those that don't absolutely despise it. I happen to be the former - the fire bar instead of a fire button is easier for me to press (I have crappy dexterity due to arthritis and other stuff), the power output feels accurate (i.e. 50 watts feels like 50 watts, not 40 or 60), and it can take a little bit of a beating. I happen to like the light - it amuses me when I'm vaping late at night, but then, I'm easily amused. A couple niggles - if you have it locked and you accidentally press and hold the fire bar, after about 30 seconds it'll give you the unlock screen with unlock selected by default, so if the fire button continues to be depressed, it'll unlock itself and autofire till it hits the cutoff. After having that happen once, I now lock it *and* power it off, which seems to have fixed the issue... but one shouldn't need a workaround just to prevent autofiring. The battery door doesn't require much force to slide off. I wouldn't call it loose, as mine doesn't rattle or shift in my hand in any way, and it won't shift or fall off even if I shake it, so for *me*, as someone with crappy dexterity, a battery door that doesn't require me to reef on it to get it off is actually a plus... but it might bother some. Temp control requires some fettling. I still haven't dialed in the perfect TCR for 316LSS - I know what the TCR is *supposed* to be, but the correct setting seems to run hot on this particular mod. I suspect Smok hasn't got their algorithm quite right, at least for SS. Fortunately, the TCR settings are genuinely adjustable as advertised, so I'll find the one that works for me eventually. So it's not a perfect mod... but it's a *solid* mod, and I enjoy using it.

Bought this for my mother, a subtank mini fan who drives for a living and therefore doesn't get a chance to refill as often as most subtanks would dictate. It's now her daily tank - she gets a full 12 hours of vaping out of it and immediately asked for a few more for spares. Fits the RBA base well (no having to really crank it together hard in order for the threads to catch, as is the case for some aftermarket tanks), and top fill works as long as you use a base that allows you to close the airflow when filling. Be careful of the small o-rings around the fill ports, as they're easy to lose when cleaning.
