Just wash your hands with Dawn or similar dish soap prior to wicking. No break-in period, no funky tastes. Well worth the added expense if you ask me.. It's one of those things where you try it once and never look back.

Nice little addition to the man cave for a low price. Must be well-designed as it brings on feelings of thirst. If it weren't for the shiny new metal backing the 'weatherization' on this would be even more compelling. I spent the extra buck for the shipping box and was not disappointed upon receipt. Five stars to all concerned, would easily buy again.

This made an immediate improvement on my dry cracked feet. Item arrived today so I put it to work after slamming in four alkaline AA batts per instruction manual. Powers up nicely-sliding switch is on the collar. That's also the spot from where the 'negative ions' emanate for additional intangible benefits. USB cord is included for those of you who have rechargeable alkalines. Also an additional smoother or massage head is included-looks tortuous but to each his own. The main thing is that this item performed a really tough job quicker and better than expected. Buy in confidence...

Using mainly to froth milk for morning coffee but will also use for mixing DIY juice. The motor is rather powerful so I suggest pulsing the power on and off until you get a feel for it. The body is oversized, seemingly hollow and finished in a cheap plastic so it's not particularly pleasant to hold or use. However it's priced attractively, gets the job done and can be replaced at almost no expense. This might be one of those items that get placed in a cart every time I shop at FT as having multiples around the house will be helpful. Will post another review in regard to durability soon.

PROS
Zip zero nada
CONS
Rare combo of dangerous and worthless
I'm used to seeing large objects on FT yet they somehow become much smaller than anticipated when in hand. This SKU is the opposite-much bigger than expected. Now if the object actually performed I could live with it but safety rather than size is the overriding concern. The dangerous part comes from the flimsy blade. It's sharp out of the box but so lightweight that the loose tobacco leaves stop it from spinning. Then it must be taken apart to repair. Also leaves the user with a two step process. A hand grind to help the lame device then it can maybe finish the job from there. Ultimately this can't earn its keep as you have to babysit a waste of space. God forbid you forget your place in the click sequence because you should expect no safety features. The blade will spin immediately after removing the blockage. Lacerations and stitches will be in your future if you lose focus during RYO because there ain't no deadman switch. My advice is to jam a screwdriver (not a tiny blue one Houdini) vertically into the blades to prevent spin. You'll feel a slight strain from the blade on the screwdriver if the device is still on. Save this SKU for your most absent-minded adversaries and look at hand-crank grinders instead. Your skin will appreciate it.
