I ordered 8 of these on 01 August 2014 and having read reports of cells sent through surface mail arriving after five months, I was surprised when I received these this morning, 85 days after placing my order.
My apprehension when I got my parcel from the post office was the condition of the batteries since they were in transit for quite some time and they might be mishandled and exposed to the elements especially while at sea. All my worries were gone when I opened the parcel and out came my INRs. Each pair was placed inside a plastic holder and each plastic holder was skillfully enclosed by bubble wrap. A bubble wrap was also placed between two cells inside the plastic holder to ensure that there would be no rattle. So no matter how this parcel gets thrown or bumped or abused while being transported, the cells remained in perfect condition.
The cells too were immaculate. The build quality is perfectly smooth and the markings crystal clear that they looked like very fresh from the factory. However I needed to be sure that the claimed capacity of 2850 mAh to 2900 mAh is true so I waited for four hours for the C-3100 to finish the charge-test of four cells before I made this review.
The first four that I tested rated 2992 mAh, 3091 mAh, 2991 mAh and 3026 mAh. An average capacity of 3025 mAh - higher than what is claimed. I guess it is now safe to say that I got very high quality Samsung INR cells and that these cells are very much worth the wait.
Thank you FastTech for selling me these INRs and for making sure that they arrive in pristine condition, and I'm definitely ordering more from you. In fact I already had. :-)

I ordered a pair of these on 21 July and my batteries arrived this afternoon, 22 days after placing the order. Upon opening the package, out went two smooth well built cells expected of Sanyo Lithium Ion cells. T took their voltage readings and both were 3.75 volts. After charging them to full (4.18 volts), I tested their performance using my 4Seven Maelstrom X-10 (of course using a copper spacer since the X-10 uses 26650 cells) and their run times on high are 61.75 mins and 63.25 mins respectively or an average computed capacity of 1831 mAh (the X-10 draws 2.35 Amps at the tail cap). Like the Sanyo 18650s I ordered from FastTech, these 18500s lived up to its brand's reputation. Thanx FastTech!

PROS
Good capacity (about 87% of mfg rating)
Protected cells
Nice and sturdy battery case

I got the pair I ordered this morning and I placed them immediately in my Opus BT-C3100 to get the capacity readings. Discharge was set at 500 mA and I got 773 mAh and 790 mAh. Not bad really since I got similar readings with my Sanyo UR14500Ps (also ordered from FastTech) and which are priced higher. Add the fact that these are protected cells then this is definitely a better deal.
Also I appreciate the extra care done to ensure that my batteries arrive in pristine condition by placing it in a nice and sturdy case.
Thanks FastTech for these great items. :-)

PROS
Decent current output
No nonsense blinky modes
Simple and practical operation

I ordered six of these and have installed two on one of my headlights and an XR-E zoomie and I'm satisfied with the results. I got rid of the blinkies and having to cycle through all the modes to turn the light off and I got some decent amount of current - the headlight (XM-L2) gives me 2.95 Amps using Samsung ICR18650-28As and the XR-E zoomie gives me 1.15 Amps using similar cells (though I attribute the low XR-E current to the high resistance of the zoomie - UltraFire PM-8099 - circuit which I have not corrected yet). I haven't tried low voltage tests yet but I am happy with this 2-mode driver.

PROS
The best Neutral White I had

I ordered ten of these and got my LEDs the other day. I immediately replaced the emitter on one of my Convoy C8s (XM-L T63C) with one of these reflowed on a 16mm SinkPad and I just loved the increase in brightness and the color of the beam. I like the 3B more than the 3C(I did not mod the other C8 for comparison).
Also finished modding my clone SRK a few minutes ago. Changed the lead wires with AWG 22, bypassed the zero resistors and replaced the emitters with three of these reflowed on 20mm SinkPads and the resulting beam is just perfect. I think I going to change the emitters of all my stock XM-L lights with these.
Thanks FastTech!
