PROS
* Infinitely variable magnetic switch. * Super Firefly low of less than 1 lumen. * 3578 OTF lumens as tested in my calibrated Integrated Sphere. * Superb build quality, massive heat sinking, and good finish. * Clean, smooth threads throughout. * Comfortable and balanced handle * Power can be locked out by rotating the head 45 degrees
CONS
* No lanyard mounting hole * Magnetic switch is a little touchy and could be smoother. * Case is super cheap and not very rugged. Mine was damaged in shipping.
More than I've ever spent on a light but well worth it. This TR-S700 really bangs out the light pushing 3578 OTF lumens but can be lowered in output to less than 1 lumen if you need to sneek through the camping tent in the middle of the night. All components are easily accessed. Reflector is very smooth, well polished, and clean. Case is well padded and the light arrived in perfect shape with zero nicks, dings or scratches anywhere on it. This light is extremely massive and heavy but can easily handle all the heat the LEDs can give. I would not hesitate to run out the batteries on high mode. I can't say that amount many lights with this kind of output. The handle is very comfortable and the light is perfectly balanced in the hand. It has gobs of flood but also a very clean and tight hot spot allowing it to throw far better than I expected. The light itself is super, super impressive! The case comes with a fitted foam insert to hold the flashlight plus 3 26650 cells and a charger (cells and charger not included). The actual case itself is of cheap quality with only the outer frame of the case made of soft aluminum. The flats/sides & faces of the case are foil coated cardboard. My case was bent up in shipping and one of the panels cracked and bowed out. I was able to easily straighten the rails and the cracked panel is not too visible but there are still ripples in the aluminum framework where I straightened it. Don't expect a sturdy case. All in all I highly recommend this light if you are in the market for a waterproof, camping, hiking, boating, or general purpose light. Truly versatile output from less than 1 lumen all the way to nearly 3600 OTF. One word sums up this light: "WOW!" Johnny

PROS
* Superb machining and anodization * Excellent beam pattern * Great throw for a compact light * Great heat sinking * Tail stands well * One of the best compact 18650 lights you can get * Hard to buy a better light at any price
CONS
* Switch assembly (tail section) could be shorter * No moon mode
I can't recommend the M1 enough. It gets a solid "Mac Approved!" endorsement! When I first saw the Convoy lights on Fastech's website I thought the M1 was very plain, especially compared to the M2, and I fully expected to prefer the M2 that I purchased more than I would this M1. I am a sucker for stainless steel bezels like the M2 has but this M1 just performs better and its stealthy appearance has grown on me to the point where I prefer it. Against a standard p60 light I believe I'd choose the M1 simply because of the excellent heat sinking and the choice of driver output and XM-L tint and bin options. Sure, you can't swap them out as easily as a p60 host but I usually own a host for every drop-in I have so it doesn't matter to me. For the money the M1 has to be one of the best values out there. It's only real competition is the other Convoy lights. They really are great!

PROS
*Great fit and finish *Fully adjustable airflow for dual or quad coils *Wonderful drip-tip included *Massive flavor and clouds!
CONS
*No allen wrench included for coil set screws
Fantastic atomizer. Super easy to coil and wick and a breeze to assemble and clean. The machining is superb and all edges are chamfered, even the air holes. Check out my full review on TVF http://goo.gl/L4NxeH

PROS
* Machining is very good * Fantastic drip tip * Very pretty
CONS
* Main top O-ring chewed up by air holes * Chimney O-rings too lose * Air holes in chimney far too high for the coils * Only 2 air holes in the AFC ring when there should be 4 + Draw is far too tight
I was excited to get this atomizer but once I got it I was extremely disappointed. The air holes in the top cap chewed up the large O-ring at the top of the atomizer. Each time you remove the top cap it just gets worse. Only 2 of the 4 air holes that should be in the air flow control ring are drilled and too small. The air holes in the inner chimney are way higher than where the coils should be. These holes should be below or on level with the coils but on this they are above the coils. To put the coils in the air flow you have to build them with long legs and bend them almost vertical. This particular version looks pretty on the outside but inside it couldn't be more wrong. Save your money and skip this. If you really wanted a Cats atty then hope they get a new version from a better manufacturer who understands how atomizers work and how to build them properly. Sorry, FT. You've hit a lot of homeruns but this time you struck out.

PROS
* Great looks and performance * Hits like a train * Knurling on locking ring is easy to grip and turn * Great switch feel * Parts interchange with the other Astro mech versions
CONS
* Non-reversed threading on locking ring * Locking ring on mine was jammed solid.
Bought both the all stainless version and this brass at the same time. While the SS version was pretty much perfect this brass one had a locking ring that was seized shut. It was like the person doing the final assembly forgot it wasn't reverse threaded like the other versions and cranked it hard. I actually had to grip the switch using two pipe wrenches and bear down hard to unstick the lock ring. Once that was done I had to grind/sand out the gouges caused by the wrenches then polish the hell out of it with the dremel buffer to get it close to the same finish as original. Once I got the bad taste out of my mouth I could appreciate the rest of it that wasn't messed up. The parts all fit perfectly and interchange with the other versions. Performance is fantastic and the switch itself works really well. Floating 510 pin accommodates any atomizer with a flush fit. I am sure the most of these won't have the same lock ring issue I had so I wouldn't let my experience deter you from purchasing this excellent mod. It's one of the best values on this site and a must have for every vaper.
