The flashlight is just clamped in some stretchy rubber holster, this holster has a very ergonomic feel on your forehead. You don't have to pull it too tight to be sturdy, even with the big weight of a 18650 battery in it, it stays on very well. It does not have a top strap, so only goes around your head, but even if you put it on very loosely, it stays in place.
Like other flashlights, this one did not get hot.
The light is pretty bright, more then enough to see clear, but not so bright it washes everything out. I highly recomend this headlamp.

Of course the moment you use this, it is half way down its live. It is in case of emergencies. It will surely keep you dry and out of the wind while almost weighing nothing and fitting in a backpocket. It is a must have.

Not a joke, haven't been in an emergency yet, so havent taken it out of the bag yet. Because if you do, i bet you will never get it back in. But by the looks of it, this is a handy piece of gear to have on you in your backpack, it weighs almost nothing, it is small, it will protect you from rain and wind, and maybe even keep the heat in. All that while being bling!

Bought this to connect multiple battery packs on my solar charger, works very well.
The quality isn't amazing, but it definatly isn't bad either.
