I don't find the light too dim, seems quite all right for me. My gripe is that I have to unpack it, mount it on my head and then after the job pack it again (otherwise, if I leave it on the table, I KNOW I will break it). So that's a little too much for my lazy a**. Sometimes I just finish the job without it, with some other magnifiers I have and/or with my sight (and I'm not too blind). But when I use it, it feels very good. The only other thing I'd like to see is better magnification. Even the strongest lens is not too strong for me.

It looks just like the original, or the images of this SKU. Overall, it's significantly wider than Chalice III. The hole is well-positioned and can not be moved because of the tab, but the tab also prevents the cap from fully closing down, there is a hairline gap. More investigation and/or light sanding is needed, but it's nothing dealbreaking. Orings hold it well, you cannot easily take the cap off when unmounted on a mod, but they aren't too tight either. I'd say just right. Same goes for the o-ring for the airflow ring - just right. What I like about the airflow control is that now you can see how much you have opened it. It has the same satin finish as its predecessor, but this one is a little less "satiny". Nevertheless, it's still distinctive. It comes with the squonking pin preinstalled.

I jumped on it because I never had a 4nine before, and at such a low price I figured I couldn't lose much. And the gamble payed off. I am pleased with the mod. I can't compare it to any other 4nine, but seems good to me. The connections between the parts are seamless, the materials look like they are what they are suppossed to be (SS and brass) and everything is connecting and working fairly well. Just some cons that might not be cons (or maybe are typical for any other 4nine clone): - all threadings are sharp. - the button is wobbling in use, when pressed, I guess that might be normal for its magnetic nature. - the disc on the flat part of the button is a little loose (rattling by itself on the plate), but it's very well connected to the rest of the plate and it's not going anywhere. I don't know if that even is a con. The insulators (both on the top cap and on the switch) seem fine to me and durable. I haven't used the mod much, but the only potential problem might be the unsmooth button, I don't know if that is normal or, if it is not, whether it can be fixed. But I don't think any other clone could be much better than that. All in all, I think it is a great value for the money.

For me, the main advantage of the iStick are its small size and weight. Although I have many other mods, this is my choice when I need to roam around the city. Before this, I had two 20-Watt ones, and still decided to buy this one because it is an improvement over that one, mostly due to the connector.

No problems with manufacturing like the first versions. Fit great and easily adjustable. I ordered them again.
