Step-up as well as step down Real wood enclosure Decent build quality Comfortable weight and size
CONS
No big ones really. For my personal taste it needed some work to be perfect. - Ohms reading is -0.2 off (in my sample) - Slightly off-centered 510 connection but this is by-design and no sloppy workmanship - Slightly slanted display
I'm pleasantly surprised by this mod. It worked almost perfectly right out of the box. I'm not a high wattage vaper, so I can't really judge if it really hits 50 Watts, but it hits pretty hard when you want it to. It has a decent adjustable 510 connection and the buttons work great and have a pleasant tactical feedback. The thing's I didn't like were the off-set display and the finish of the wood casing. After receiving the mod, and checking it's functionality, I immediatly took it apart and stripped it of all it's internals, which is a pretty easy and straight forward job. Contrary to a lot of Chinese mods, this mod has hardly any hot-melt inside. 15 minutes later I had a empty wooden box. I sanded the box down to a smooth finish and oiled it with a red-colored oil. This really brought out the natural lines in the wood and also revealed that this box is carved out of one solid peace of wood. Even the lid on the backside is made from the same block of wood. All the natural grooves match up perfectly. The chipset inside has no markings, just a sort of modelnumber. It looks very much like a YiHi chipset, so I thnik it's a clone. It has a mounted micro-usb socket for charging, complete with a red and a green led, but both are invisible inside the mod when everything is mounted. There is also the option to operate the board with a touch-sensor, much like the IPV's, but those connections are also not used. You can however still switch this function of or on by pressing the fire and up or down button at the same time :-) The board looked neatly organised and the components on it were mountedwith very decent solder connections. The wires where also soldered one very decently. Not great, but not bad either. I put in a spring loaded 510 SKU 2038801. This one is identical to the original 510 in the mod, the only difference being that it is spring-loaded. After putting back in the non-discript chipset (no brand could be detected) I found out why the display is a bit crooked. In order to align the display you have to bend the flatcable attached to the display in a way that is not really possible and would surely break or tear the flatcable. So now the display is still a bit crooked (all be it less then when it arrived). This can be corrected by a bit of wood-work in the interior of the mod, but I could not be bothered with that. And now this thing is almost perfect (for me at last). It really looks the part, with it's now glossy deep-brown finish, and sporting a spring-loaded 510, and working like a charm. No delay's when firing, and no error's what so ever. Fires every time. Only negatives left is the slightly slanted display, and the slightly off-set 510 coonnection. But due to the construction of the 510, the manufacturer had to put it slightly out of center, otherwise the lid would not fit on the mod. Both these issues are minor ones for me. Only thing left to experience now is how long the chipset will last. But judging on the build quality of the board I suspect a fairly long time as long as you do not operate it at the edges of it's capabilities.

PROS
Amazingly detailed sound Balanced sound-signature Easy to drive Capable of ear-shattering volumes Quality finish Many extra ear-flanges included
CONS
Armatures are big, will not fit all ears.
I've owned many in-ear earphones, and these rank among the best of them, considering their cost. These little puppies give of a well balanced and detailed soundstage. These are not the type of IEM's for bass-heads. They give of a very clear and deep bass, while maintaining every bit of detail that's in the oroginal recording. The frequency curve of these IEM's seams completly flat to your ears. Every frequency is delivered to your ears at the exact same volume as all the others. No overpumped bass-tones, no overly brilliant high's or muted mid's. Everything frequency is there, and every frequency is as loud as it was ment to be. THe soundstage is wide and dynamic. Really a well balanced setup suited for every type of music you throw at them. And to top it all of, these IEM's are very easy to drive. No external Amp. is needed to make these puppies sing! Off-course there are better dynamic IEM's out there, like the Sennheisser IE80 for instance, but these baby's come mighty close in overall performance to the really high end IEM's. Being dynamicly driven IEM's, they do have a different sound-signature then the IEM's with balanced armatures. Both type of drivers have their respective merrit's. But if you are in the market for a extremely decent pair of dynamicly driven IEM's and do not want to spend a bucket-load of cash, give these ones a try.

Looks very close to the original Threads are perfect. Engravings are top notch Smooth fire-button Reverse threaded locking ring
CONS
Unit was dirty when I received it and the fire-button looked pale and had a matt finish
This is a very well made and beautifull mod. I personally love the minimalistic design, wothout all the fancy engravings. It needed a polish and good cleaning when it arrived, Especially the fire button, which had a dull and uneven finish. But after polishing it with some copper-cleaner it now acts like a golden mirror!

PROS
Stainless Steel version is sturdy and well machined. Can be used in 18350 or 18650 mode, All tubes included.
CONS
510 Threads are not very durable. If used with caution, they last forever. If mistreathed they will fail. O-ring under plus post is mediocre quality, but relatively easy to replace.
I've got 3 of these MOD's and they all work flawlessly. The oldest one for well over 3 months now. De plus-contact in de 510 connection is insulated with an o-ring, that will easily break. It can however be easily replaced. Threads on the 510 connection are a bit weak, but if you screw your atty's on with caution and don't overtighten them, you'll have no problem with them. For this amount of money it's hands-down the best regulated mod out there imho.

PROS
- Very decent sound quality - Nice build quality - Good looks - Able to go very loud
CONS
- Battery is not user replacable - It's not a bass-monster (as advertised)
This little box turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It has a decent sound-quality and goes surprisingly loud. Although driving it a full power will introduce a lot of distortion. It's not a bass-monster, but I never expected it to be one. Getting deep and full bass from an enclosure this size with tiny drivers, is just physically impossible. The build quality is very decent, especially regarding the price. The looks for me are a fresh breath and take a break from the run of the mill bluetooth-speakers with dashing colors and led-light shows. This little speaker looks classy (the wood is a verneir) and just does what it's supossed to do, producing very listanable music.
