PROS
Easy to build on (well, it's a velocity!). Great airflow control. FLAVOUR! Beautiful machining. Completely clean - not a hint of machine oil. Comes with bottom-feeder (squonking) pin installed (just reove the plug with the smaller allen key (provided). Lovely glass alternative cover.
CONS
Spare grub-screws for posts were slotted, not hex as pictured for the item and the installed ones were, yet the provided tools were both allen keys, for the post grub screws and squonk-pin stopper. My glass cover had a small chip at one end of one of the airflow slots.
Lovely clone of a true classic, with the addition of a beautiful glass cover, to show off a build and allow you to see the state of your coils. Much too nice for my ratty looking Dripbox! I may even risk using it, despite the slight chip (and possible crack - my eyesight and magnification aren't good enough to be sure - at one end of one air slot, although if it is a crack I expect it won't take long to spread when subjected to the heat of normal use :( It seemed well packed, and the packaging was not damaged, so seems most likely to be a QC problem before it even left the factory, most likely during packaging - very close inspection with a bright light discovered a tiny glass chip in that section of the box. Maybe the new guy shoving wrong accessory parts into the glass cover, and a little less carefully than he should? The great flavour and easy build shows WHY the velocity is is a classic! It has (of course) about the easiest deck in existence to build on, making building and wicking easy even for the most ham-fisted beginner like me. It was a little strange to get slotted grub-screws as spares for the (hex-socket) post clamp screws - if they are intended as alternatives, for those who prefer slotted screws, why not include a screwdriver for them, and have a couple of spares for each type? Hex socket grub screw spares are pictured for the item, so it seems most likely that l have the wrong spares, for which I've dropped it a couple of stars on value. along with a couple on quality for the combination of that and the slight chip in the glass. The correct allen keys were provided for both the post screws and bottom-feeder (squonk) pin plug. Not a trace or smell of machine oil or anything else on any of the parts, and no sign of anything coming off in the ultrasonic bath (which I use as a matter of course on any machined parts, both before and between uses). Glass get an alcohol swab. I may well get another to use in non-squonk mode on other mods, where it's great looks won't make the mod it's topping an embarrassment! It's a bit of a shame that what is otherwise a lovely RDA is let down by a couple of mistakes - wrong grub-screw spares and letting a cracked glass through - but even WITH these slip-ups, it is perfectly useable, and a great RDA. The general quality is what leads me to believe that I have just been unlucky with this one being carelessly packaged. Did I mention the great flavour?

PROS
Simple to use Great temperature control Good battery life Powerful enough for heating complex coils quickly Well made Compact Excellent value for money
CONS
newer models are no better and mostly worse, but have pushed this one out of production.
I think I pretty much covered it in the pros and cons above, but you can STILL see reviewers using this during live-streams, in liquid tests and to test atomisers, despite in many cases having a massive choice of mods available to them.

PROS
Simplicity. Durability. Flexibility Excellent temperature control. Longevity - I can still get all maintenance parts (Glass, seals, coils). Even comes with an RBA base for the tank.
CONS
Finish could be better, but then I guess it lasted me pretty well. It's no longer available.
After a very entry level Ego style kit (CE4, badged by the store I bought it at and taking the tiny Aspire BVC coils), This was my first real starter kit, and it has everything except a battery and liquid. I went straight into temperature control on stainless steel, and have never used any other type of vaping, although in early use it did get press-ganged into power use when I started coil building and needed to be able to dry-fire new coils to check for hot-spots and old coils for cleaning. Of course, those early builds were on the included RBA head, so this got me from my first controllable output device right through to building my own coils, which is about as flexible as a starter kit can be. My first is still in use by it's third convert from smoking, is 34 months old, and has been the only device used by it's user for most of that time! I've bought several since (of which this is one example) to give to smokers looking to quit. Although I've moved on to bigger mods in general, I've stuck with the TC that was a major selling point for me of this kit and only ever used anything else during early experimentation with squonking - where the original dripbox was used with a variety of atomisers. I reckon a facelift on this (possibly including a size increase to take 21700s and larger atomisers) and it would still match anything on the market today.

PROS
Build quality. Flexibility with ease of tightening in any position. Versatility.
CONS
Could be a slightly better finish, but as I place function over form, this doesn't worry me.
Just the kind of clamp I was looking for to hold a drill to the side of a bench. It will work at almost any angle, but my main use is for fusing or claptoning wires for building coils for vaping with my power drill which runs at a far higher speed than my cordless. It would be equally useful facing the other way to mount grinding wheels or similar on the edge of the bench.

PROS
Dimensions exactly what they should be Allows use of an 18500 in a 3xAAA flashlight Get 2 sleeves from each, so enough to convert 10 flashlights
CONS
none
I got these because I have a number of small flashlights which take three AAA NiMH cells which I wanted to be able to use a single 18500 cell in - an 18650 being just too long. Each of these cuts in half to allow 2 lights to be sleeved appropriately and the flashlight have over twice the endurance compared to even the best AAA cells. One word of warning, do not allow any Li-Ion cell to fall below 2.5v as the internal chemistry will start digesting itself and kill it very dead indeed. Even with the caveat that deep discharge is a Bad Thing, all you need do is replace or recharge as soon as the light dims visibly and you are good.
