These are exactly the same CE4s my local shop is selling for $6.99 each. I buy these both to give away and use myself though I am now leaning toward mini vivi novas because I can replace/rebuild the heads. On these basic CE4s, you can't change the heads but you can keep them going a long time (months) by periodic cleaning/dry burning.
Maybe I've been lucky but all of mine have worked properly. (I've had around 40 by now.)

These are popular because they are cheap and the quality is acceptable. I think I've bought 8 - one arrived broken and another arrived scratched but the other six were fine. Overall I can't really recommend them because there are much better ones out there (sturdier) but you can't beat the price. If you're only going to be dripping occasionally, these are fine but the lack of a locking ring make these unsuitable for carrying around.

This is a neat-looking pipe. Feels sturdy in the hand. I knew ahead of time that it needed a fuse to work with an 18350 battery so I already had one and it worked perfectly. The 'stem' was a tad loose, I tightened it with a small screwdriver and it's perfect. Great little mod.
