costruzione perfetta

costruito molto bene, la resa è uguale al prodotto originale, rende benissimo in mtl ma va molto bene anche in dl. la mesh centrale rende le cose un po piu facili, non è comunque un atom per tutti, ci vuole un po di esperienza con questi sistemi

PROS
wicks very well , easy to fill and set up with ceramic insulators in place and tastes very very good
|
CONS
plastic tank ,no glass and lack of spares for tank and ceramic parts
|
its been well over a week since the inax v5 arrived and I almost immediately set to getting it set up ,ready for action , I did not repeat not use the ceramic ring to restrain the mesh wick as that is not what its intended for ,I used 200 super fine mesh 20 x80 mm approximately and rolled it around a suitably sized mandrel , not the ceramic tube as with 2 and only 1 spare I was not going to take any chances with this I then fitted the mesh on the ceramic tube and inserted it into the tank after all the heating needed to get it to keep its shape permanently and oxidized ,I have been dealing with mesh since 2012 so I know what works for me ,I then wound 4 wraps of 26ga ss316l wire for my coil 0.42ohms and minimal tweaking of the coil needed and now have it set at 27.2w 450f and have had no trouble at all with hotspots and yes the mesh has not moved at all nor will it and there is a little clearance between the mesh and the ceramic ring say 0.1-0.15mm ! works mighty fine in my book and tastes top notch too.

PROS
good threads
Heatsink
Good taste
|
CONS
poor plastic tank
useless steel tank
delicate, fragile, therefore insufficient spare parts
poor plastic drip tip
|
Poor endowment given the price and potential of this genesis: 1) the steel tank is useless because it is blind: Yftk could do it (and I hope he will soon) in glass, much more useful. 2) The tank in poor plastic cannot even be looked at! .. much better had it been in derlin or other material resistant to acid liquids. Even better, a second pyrex tank. 3) Ceramics will also be a good idea, but it is rigid and fragile: and moreover, with heat, it does not last at all. The vertical cylindrical insulator also lasts a short time also because the mesh that slides over it is rough. 4) The lower ceramic insulator I already see that the hours are counted...it would have been better to double it twice...even at the cost of putting fewer rounds of mesh. Anyway, a spare peek insulator is necessary. 5) The upper disk-insulator of the screw "plug" broke on the first use! Really too subtle and fragile: even better here in peek. 6) The top "screw cap" will also look nice in metal, but it goes in short circuit with metal drip tip! Warning! 7) The o-rings that hold the tank are too thin in height, and without abundant lubrication tend to come out of the seat: they were double the height (because as diameter they are fine) this problem would be solved. 8) The steel frame and screws are made well. Too bad it's not bottom feeder...(coming soon...? ) 9) Uncomfortable refill cap = too tight. A small high metal screw like "Origen genesis V2 22mm" would have been better.

Ceramic Rings Break
|
First, let me assure you this review is not written with any extreme emotions or grudge. My emotion was actually disappointment and regret as I had such high hopes when I was ordering this RTA. After all, I was getting a YFTK tank with thick metal mesh wick, and ceramic in eLiquid delivery system; what could be better? The tank itself is designed and made great. Fit and finish is excellent and so is the parts quality. All markings and logos are present. This tank comes with a spares package, which contains spares for all of the ceramic parts. It was when inspecting this package that I noticed the spare ceramic ring that holds the metal mesh wick together and insulates it, was broken. Without this insulator ring, the thick mesh wick will short out, or gradually open up and cause wicking failure. I quickly opened a ticket with FastTech and thanked god for still having one functioning ceramic ring. Inspecting this support ring further, I noticed it is made extremely thin, and I mean EXTREMELY, which shouldn’t be. Since this ring is holding a relatively large pack of mesh in a place where temperatures change severely, it should at least have the necessary bulk to hold under stress. But being so thin, with a slight pressure or even negligence, it could break. Observing and understanding this flaw, I made my build with outmost care and started vaping away happily. In less than a week, I noticed constant electrical shorts and my wick getting loose at the bottom. When I opened my build up, I noticed the ceramic ring had cracked. The metal mesh was was just being held on the top with the coil on one end and free the rest of the way. I believe, with their current build quality, these rings will break (under the stress from mesh wick and the rapid and extreme temperature changes) within days to weeks of using this tank, regardless of the care put into the builds. That means the money spent is to use this tank only for a few days. Therefore, sadly, until YFTK replaces these rings with more durable designs, I can not recommend this tank, and warn purchasers of this flaw.
