Picked this up as a first foray into wireless charging, and I have to say I'm quite impressed. Using as a nightstand charger this thing is just the ticket. There is a dim halo light round the outside of the pad that is lit when no device is charging, it then goes off when a device it charging. This makes it really suited to being a nightstand charger. The light is just enough to locate the charger in the dark without lighting up the room.
Construction feels solid, maybe a touch plasticy but decent for the price. The charging pad has a nice almost rubbery texture that wont scratch a device and is also not really slippy or grippy. I would have personally preferred it to be a little more grippy, but it seems good enough.
Mine came with a USB cable too, which isnt mentioned in the spec.
