An absolute must have!
So spot-on for perfect coils,
Just dry fire them with these pupies,
But caution they do get hot without any sign.
Perhaps thats what is needed; thermo indicated handles?

Excellent for springy wire builds

Rods can pop out of the handles
Heat can damage the handle if not careful
|
These aren't needed for normal builds, but for those very springy wires that like to deform the coil the second you take a normal mandrel out. Extremely useful when you really need it. Just try not to over-pulse or pulse the coil too close to the silicone handle, or it will get damaged.

I was really excited to get and try this but unfortunately the 2mm rod has snapped already in the package (this was clearly done during production/packaging as the outer card casing didn't have a single blemish). I've contacted FT who are contacting CM to arrange a replacement, but as for the other rods they work exactly as I would expect, for me they've been a godsend for keeping the coils from warping when I'm working out the hot spots. Definitely worth adding to your coil building kit and I wished I'd ordered one sooner.
