Works without batteries using USB
Takes a cheap 50g calibration weight

Main reason for purchase was USB power. It works except with really cheap USB supplies. The type you shouldn't use or don't work with most electronics. Calibration weight selectable in 50g steps from 50g to 600g. Good purchase.
