This is the 2nd Kayfun V4 version A (this page). First one leaked and leaked (a few days later) and will soon hopefully be rectified once I receive the the correct sized o-rings.

As for the 2nd one I ordered of the same version, it came with a missing #8 o-ring (which will be sent to me), and an Juice Control Ring which would not turn, even with the bottom 510 pin removed. Not until I made a shim to place on the square part of the base from a Coke can, and then tightened #9 screw as tight as it could go, then the Juice Ring could move somewhat freely and the Ohms readings were not fluctuating from 0 to 10. That fix required taking out the steel conductor spring, and replacing it with a superior copper one I had in my toolbox.

Machine oil was not bad. Just a warm rinse with dish soap and a toothbrush. No metal burs or blocked air holes.

Other than the problems listed above, which will be fixed, this unit is solid and worth the $$.

Just realize, if you've never owned a sophisticated RBA before, don't have any tools or mechanical know how, then it's best to stay away from the Kayfun V4 clone, and go for something less complicated and in need of fine tuning, patience, a thorough read of the instruction manual over and over again, and watching a few YouTube videos on step-by-step assembly and disassembly.

In any event, in the end, I have faith everything will work out.
