This driver is awesome value for the price. The stated specs for Med and Low are very accurate. Whilst driving an XML emitter my multimeter read 1050ma current on high, 290ma on Med and 45ma on low, which is almost directly inline with the stated 30% and 5% outputs on Med and low respectively. Overheating is also a non issue with this driver. After being left on for 10 minutes on high (without heatsinking) the driver was only body temperature at best.

Soldering joints are very good however the wires that come with it are very crap and they fell off shortly after arriving. But this does not really matter since you should replace the wires with better silicone wires anyway.

The main downside to this driver is that it is not constant current on Med and Low mode and thus PWM is very noticeable on these modes. There is mode memory in a sense, however the mode memory consists of the driver switching to the next mode that it was last switched on from. For example if you turned the driver off whilst it was in high mode the driver would switch to SOS once it was turned back on (or whatever mode was next after the previous mode).

Whilst this driver is intended for LED's the reason I bought it is to use in a 635nm Mitsubishi P73 laser build and the driver works flawlessly for my purposes. The reason that this driver works with a P73 laser diode is that the operating voltage (vf) is very similar to LED's.

Overall this is a very solid and reliable driver that performs excellent for its intended purpose and also for its non intended purpose ;)

Очень добротный драйвер. Жаль что нет пружинки, хорошо что было откуда переставить. Размер немного больше указанного - от этого долго и нудно пришлось допиливать его надфилем. В остальном - все как в спецификации.

Good driver both as a replacement and to build your own flashlight. Due to customizable modes it can be used in different applications. I use one of mine in a head mounted flashlight and another one in a desk LED lamp. Can always add an AMC regulator (on top of the existing one, possible in most flashlight hosts) or remove it to adjust the current capability to your needs.
Would be 10/10 if it incororated thermal protection, but you'll need to exchange i.e. for tiny45 for that.
Very good overall value anyways.

Economical option of well-known Nanjg family, can run up to 2,5 hours
on standard 2600 mAh battery.

Total was ordered 5 drivers. The first did not come to work. The remaining four drivers operate. A good driver. You can remove flashing.
