- Very small PWM noise when operating on medium mode (not noisy or noticeable at all!! shouldn't be a con!)

Very capable and great driver. Features a small +ve spring soldered on the back which is very convenient. Also has customizable group drivers by soldering a specific star to the ground which is easy to do. Definitely recommend this!! I used this driver in conjunction with (SKU: 1122302 XML T6-3C 5000K EMITTER) and C20 DIY CREE Flashlight Body (SKU 1181700 ). This makes a very bright compact thrower and also has a perfect balance between throw and flood. Light is driven at approx. 2A high, 1A medium and 100mA low with this driver Great use!!

На форуме фонаревки много вариантов прошивки этого драйвера, хоть под силовую, хоть под тактовую кнопку, с реализацией степдауна по температуре светодиода, можно сделать линейник с минимальной переделкой, или шим вообще без переделки. выпаяв лишние стабилизаторы можно подобрать требуемый ток от 350мА до 2800мА кратно 350мА (ток одного стабилизатора)

Wires are very thin
The wire connecting points are on IC legs, and in tight places so replacing is a bit messy job.

Using it with Cree XM-L U3-1C. All modes work, all different sets of modes work. Puts on a nice amp output. A little bit of whirring and buzzing when on part-bright modes (10%, 50%). After 2.9 volts the flashlight starts to flash once a second - not an nice way to signal a dead battery - some drivers just dims to lowest mode so you really can exit the dark room. But anyway definetely worth its money.

MODES — no matter which stars you short, there's always at least two modes
There are some serious issues when trying to use it in a Convoy S2+
|
Alas, this driver doesn't fit in a Convoy S2+ body.
First, two of the bottom 7135s are positioned OVER the ground rim and leave no room for the ring that's supposed to secure the driver. The thing is, they could move the chips just a little bit to completely avoid this!
Second, the spring is too short/weak for the bottom switch to activate when the copper part with the LED is screwed all the way in, which you have to do to secure the reflector. Make sure to order some 8x10mm springs and be ready to do some soldering.
Third, this jumper config system is a joke. What I want from a flashlight is to just turn on and off — no modes; and there's no jumper for this. Good thing you can reprogram it, but
