And the question is:
Does a series mod has any advantage?
Perhaps yes, a much bigger coil surface.
Ramp up time?

Yes, a series mech provides the same power levels at half the Amp load of a single mech because you quadruple the resistance for the same power vape. A parallel can also do this, but if you accidentally insert the batteries incorrectly in a series mech nothing will happen - if you do this in a parallel the batteries will vent instantly.

And, that means, you can have double power out of your batteries.
Thats why electric car industry uses 800 Volts,
to keep the the battery stress low.
