Most of my purchases were older mechs, more recent clone 21700 mech tubes and a bunch of atties that I missed first time round.
Its sad that the highlight of my 2021 release vape gear was a $15 clone.

Very good choice.
But you also like the AIOs very much.

It is bizarre you are under the impressions I like AIOs, because of an earlier discussion stating I dislike single battery mods without boost circuitry (which just happened to be on an AIO thread).

You are mistaken. Just to clarify - I like separate regulated and mechanical mods with a standard 510 and separate rebuildable atties. I have tried a few billet type AIOs out of hobbyist curiosity, but have quickly moved them on and my collection is currently 100% AIO, Pod and Stock Coil free. I'm considering buying a Supbox - but if I do it will be used in SBS mode only - the boro tank and cage will remain in the box, unused.

Thank you for your clear statement.
You, and other specialists in this forum, know a lot about mods,
but we have starters in this forum, and we have to be very carefully,
not to create any hype.
And we should not forget, industry wants to create hypes.

And btw. lots of weeks ago I wrote in a 200 5-stars thread about the Vindicator mech mod.
Today I saw, all V3 types of Vindicators are sold out.
Seems, perhaps lots of people react and buy it.
Like V8 said, there is a second community which only watch and decide.
Geek knows the relation between our thread invited customers and who buy,
very similar on Amazon, high voting, lots of sales.

my most used device this year was an SDNA 75 made by SMY in 2016. i bought a couple of them back when they went on clearance after being discontinued. every so often I sand it down and apply some truck bed liner paint to the enclosure as I tend to drop it a lot which causes chips. the paint gives it a nice finish like the old ww2 black crackle zippos.

I love that mod! I remember wanting a "wood grain" version way back when...lol.

That wood grain was something else! I forgot about that. I've yet to find another DNA mod that's as small and rugged. They're also dead easy to repair and strip down. The Steam Crave Hadron Mini DNA100C might finally replace it but I'm just waiting on some reviews.

I wish we'd see more milled aluminum enclosures like the days of hanna modz and the exploding hanna clones. I don't love all the zinc alloy enclosures that we get now.

I'll probably be alone on this, but the TFV-18, with the excellent Wotofo RBA was the highlite for me. Swing top fixed, with the lock it should always have had, great capacity, and no leaking ever. Not on it's side, or in a pocket, and no real effort to wick. A nice plus is it accepts most of the huge acrylic tanks from my old TFV-12, making it the first atomizer that I can take with me for 12 hours, and not need batts or juice.

And the flavor is great, with both the factory coils, and the RBA. I was looking to replace my mesh tanks, but the 18 has almost made me forget about them. With 3 of them, and 4 RBAs, and over a week and a half without needing to be rewicked, as opposed to every day or 2 before, they are what I vape 90% of the time.
