Another vote for the Aegis Max if you are a high wattage vaper.

I have one of those as well but I only vape at 23w so the Solo is better suited for me but they both can be thrown about, dropped, etc and just keep on ticking.

Are the 21700s good at repeated 70W use? That is what OP wants. I am asking because I don't know. I don't own any 21700 mods. No point in them for me unless it is a dual,(I am at to high a wattage for single) and that is a bit large and heavy, when dual 18650's work great and are smaller.

Only reason I chose them, for more power was because the design of most were rounder and easier to slip inside trouser pockets for me. I find duals a bit big for my hands but perhaps for men, not so.

For longevity I would stick with a dual batt mod and carry an extra set if absolutely necessary but to each their own.

I have 4 (Molicel IIRC) 18650s that still work fairly well. Not looking to buy more batteries ATM. Just looking for a cheap dual 18650. I can have this Manto as backup. Honestly shocked at how well it has done for $18 USD shipped! lol

I'm generally not a fan of SMOK but SKU 9730464 is small and light and has stood up well to a bit of punishment. It can also be found cheaper elsewhere.

The rigel is on sale now, around 29$. Also another plus is the battery door.

The days of having to spend a decent amount for something good seem to be a thing of the past. There are literally tons of good options out there for a dual 18650 mod now. If you want the most control you can go up to a DNA board, but it's allot more than anyone really needs.

So far I have really liked the Geekvape chips, so that looks like a great option. Very clean and minimal looking compared to allot of what is out there. I think it is a nice.

So are you actually looking for a "pod" style? Or a subtank style? Does it have to be one or the other for any reason? Also are you looking to rebuild at all?

It would be hard for me to help with pod style or subtanks because I don't use them, only rebuildables. From what I hear though the majority of them are really good these days. My only real recommendation would be go with one from a big company so there are allot of coils out on the market for them. These things are obsolete as soon as you can't find coils any more. Some tanks stood the test of time, the majority didn't and of coarse some are cross compatible with other coils. I can't really help you with that headache though.

The 70 VG part should be easy though as that seems to be the standard in commercial eliquid these days, unless it is salt nic, even with salt nic though some commercial liquid companies still use 70.

I totally get that, I regularly convince myself that I want something in single coil even though I never end up using it very much. Trying to make it work now with a 12MG instead of my usual 6MG, but feel like I might need 14 or 15, and that is never available in commercial liquids. I do some DIY, but it's not really anything I care to work on much.
