Smallest, lightest dual-18650 mod?
My last Pioneer4you ipv 6x has just died. They're pretty rubbish overall with a tiny fire button and flimsy battery door but the form-factor and size was perfect for me. So I'm looking for a replacement but have been out of the loop for about 3 years. Any recomendations/suggestions for a replacement? I need it to be variable wattage.
Thanks in advance.

No longer sold here, but because they're a bit older you can probably find good deals locally: Vandy Vape Swell is small and light, Eleaf Invoke is a bit heavier but unbelievably small for a dual 18650 mod.

The Swell is a good choice. Super light, but you can't break it by dropping. Water proof to some degree as well, and is easy to just rinse off and keep vaping. Chip is colorful and fuller-featured than most.

Size-wise, it's fairly compact for a dual 18, with rounded corners and edges, and grippy, textured G10 panels.

Wouldn't rule out the Geekvape L200 Aegis. Might be a wee bit heavier but the quality of their mods are one of the best in this price range.

SKU 9739933

Still a favourite dual batt. Vaporesso GEN. Love it as I came from Yihi/SX Mini chips for so long that this particular mod reminded me where it all began with the Sigelei 100w Yihi mods of years ago. Smooth vape, much like that one.
It feels very light in the hand.

Aircraft-grade Aluminum: The first vaping device uses Aircraft-grade Aluminum material going through the cold forging processing, giving the GEN X the ultra-high strength and excellent corrosion resistance to say its quality out loud.

SKU 9731537

*Edit: I have the 1st Version GEN which I see is no longer sold here. The one I pointed to is v2 so I have not used it but heard it was basically just V1 again

I'm generally not a fan of SMOK but it fits your criteria quite well.

If you can find one the Teslacigs WYE 200w would be a good choice. I’ve been using the 85w single for over two years. Suggest an aluminum heat sink under your atomizer when using with a plastic mod.

Most mods /All mods have a steel 510 plate, don't worry! If you ever have plastic melting, you've got much bigger problems to worry about.

I did have a mech squonk, which while in my work bag unlocked, fell onto the button, which caused it to fire to over a minute I'd guess, melting the area around the 510 plate, but this should never happen with a regulated mod, and even IF it does, metal on top of metal just transfers heat - so the end result of a runaway fire episode would end the same.

Just some first-hand experience to mull over....

Thanks everyone.

Unfortunately I couldn't find an Invoke or a Swell anywhere.

The L200 and Vaporesso Gen are interesting but just a little too big for me.

The Smok Rigel is pretty much the right size but yeah, it's Smok.

I was originally looking for the Tesla Wye 200 but again, nowhere to be found... I have 2 of the Wye 86w and love them but tried to find some backups a couple of months ago but couldn't locate them anywhere. I got a couple of Puma Babys (SKU 9684898) instead and they're fine, cheap and 46g! I've taken a punt on a Puma 200w (SKU 9679067) on the back of that purchase and am still waiting for delivery. Supposed to be 71g.

I think it was Papapaf or whatever his name was who used to go mad about the size and weight of vape stuff and he has a point. A heavy brick is fine if you're using your mod at home but when you're out and about size and weight is important to me. But maybe I'm a weirdo cos I also prioritise weight when buying a mobile phone.

Anyways, thanks again and if anyone finds or knows of any other small and light mods then feel free to add to the thread.

Loved the Tesla as well but since you are now talking about single batt mods, the best one I have come across and use more than any other mod I own, the Geekvape Aegis Solo.

I have the first one, SKU 9693515 but there is now a V2 SKU 9742585.

The first edition is very difficult to find at home as it was so popular but if you can its usually better priced then here.
Going to pick up the v2 version here I love these mods so much.

I also have their Xtra large version that uses a 21700 battery but I much prefer the Solo single batt version.

When I am out and about I prefer a smaller single batt mod and if necessary, throw an extra battery into a case in my pocket.

OP: A serious consideration to mull over is the wattage/build/resistance you normally vape at...for low to medium watts, say, 65-70 and under, a 21700 mod could be just what you need. If you vape even lower- say, under 50 watts, a single 18650 might be your cup o' tea.

Yeah, unfortunately, the Aegis series, while great for their purpose, are a bit bigger and heavier to allow the "industrial grade" rating...

Try looking at the Hugo Vapor mods. They are plastic and super light weight, and relatively reliable from my experience. I own 3 different products, all over 3 years old, and they all still work when I ask them to...

The RADER is Battlestar/Rigel shaped, and dual 18650. The URUS is single 21700/18650. They are available here I think, and under 30.00, roughly.
