I usually throw them away, might keep a few, as 2mm works well in a lot of Boro bridges.

Tho if i run out of these i probably will switch back to round wire... Idk yet

Try 0.8mm round wire for coils, Gives me as good flavour as a basic clapton coil.

An alligator clip can do more than hold your roach, too. If you need an extra hand when jamming a clapton into an rta like this, just clamp it over the wire, so it holds your wire under the screw while you tighten it.

Also, the Pelso rda came with "clapton clamps" that work with all the clone Dvarw post screws I've got (just 2, but hey!) so if you dont use the rda, take the clamps! I don't think the Pelso was very popular at FT, but a few have it.

Whoa 0,8mm? I have never used a wire that thick, I usually used 0,45mm khantal... 26ga
6-7 wraps on 2 or 2,5mm rod... Usually around .7ohm
Best thing about the VV premade coils that it has the same resistance with 1 extra loop.

I have .65 and .8mm kanthal wire here but never used them... Also nowdays i prefer ni80...

Try the 0.8 Kanthal, 5 wraps, spaced, 3mm ID, It will ohm around 0.23, you will be surprised.

That'll add up to 4,6mm diameter, u sure i can fit that in a dvarw? :D
