A year or so ago, when this issue started rising again (plenty of posts about it, in between the COVID-delayed delivery moans), it seemed the majority affected were from the US.

PP are now clearly widening the net. And it's only going to encompass more and more customers as time goes on.

I'm aware that vaping is only one small part of FT's overall business, but they're going to lose business (to rivals) if they don't switch to another CC handler before long.

Last year, I'm certain AP mentioned in a reply to someone who was having problems, that FT were aware of the issue, and were looking at a solution. To date, they've done nothing. I'm not overly convinced they will either.

There is Paypal option and everything happens normally until Paypal rejects the transaction and then I'm redirected to the Fasttech page I've posted early.

It happened a couple days ago in USA (Florida), and today in South america.

A couple weeks ago there were no issues with my purchases.

I wonder if PayPal is identifying ecig related purchases from the invoice description alone. If Fasttech changed the description slightly, it might not trip the PP restriction.

Well , the exception should be items with no other reason to exist except to kill people...but technically you are correct, although the USA is pretty lax compared to many other countries...

Same thing to own poisonous reptiles...most owners of these dangerous items are responsible, and never harm a soul. But I feel registration is a good thing, not an attack on liberty. One thing people mess up on when it comes to liberty is thinking they have any more than someone else...If I lose a Canebrake Rattlesnake, my neighbors' liberty to sleep peacefully has been infringed upon. Lefty, while being quite daft at times, makes a completely different point than what we are talking about. His point is more about "exclusivity of ownership" where basically in order to be in his "club", you have to have to agree to "be a member" and follow member rules.

I agree with it, but it sucks as the persecuted consumer.

Got an e-mail from FT this AM informing me that an order I had placed early in Feb. had been returned by Chinese customs and they would re-ship it unless I requested a refund within 24 hours.

It's a minor order (coil head & mesh strips) so I don't much mind and appreciate FT's proactive response to the problem. Having been a satisfied customer for well over a decade I'll continue with FT but when purchasing a more expensive item in the future I'll probably consider other (more local) options considering not only the 2-4 weeks it normally takes to receive items but the potential for extra delays due to what seems to be going on in China.

Sure hope all this nonsense clears up in the near future!
