Slow down man.
You live in US and you are telling us,
you will perhaps like to move to Australia,
because this will be the better life for you.

Your ideas are a litle bit crazy.

We are not talking in this thread about dreams,
we talk about facts.

Sorry man.

Poland because of the cheap beer.

Hungary is much cheaper and better.
Hungary has no coast, but this thermal water is great.
Hungary is on my list:
one of the best places to visit in our world.

An old friend of mine recently passed away but he had lived in Croatia the last dozen years and loved it.

No idea whatsoever what Croatia is like though.
As a successful retired TV show director, he wasn't hurting for $$ so we never talked about the cost of living there, etc.

I lived 3 weeks in Split/Croatia in the wintertime.
Around Split I did not find a lot of beaches,
the croation people are building around Split their houses very close to the Adria.
Because of the 1244 islands (47 inhabited),
Croatia is perfect for small boats 5 to 6m.
The island Hvar is close to Split.
I think in the time around 1920 (no planes),
tourists stayed there in the wintertime because of the warm winter.
I dont remember the prices, but the expensive Italy is just opposite the Adria.
The backpacker book Lonely Planet Mediterranean Europe shows the current prices.
Croatia is on my list: the best places in this world to visit.

Whatever works for you.

The boyfriend I lived with in Jamaica for a year, wanted to get married. I didn't. Partly because it would have meant living in Boston for several years, when I wanted to be here. He wanted to own a villa in Tuscany which he ended up doing and is very successful with but I would have been bored out of my mind there.

I am an urban person and much prefer large cities
