I think a more pressing issue is when is China as a country going to understand that if you are going to do business globally, especially on a retail level, you can't be going on holiday for 2 friggin' weeks lol
It's asinine, to put it mildly.
Total global economic meltdown is on the way.

We all know that ft raises the price on some items before a sale. But i just bought 4 rdtas i had in my cart for a while and none of them were raised. It's on certain items.
BUT... this being said, the 2020 limited sale is a scam, simple as that. Never seen that on FT before.
We can't agree on everything.

Yeah that's something new. I guess they are trying a new marketing gimmick. I'm sure they will find out it doesn't work for the most part lol People are too smart to buy something dirt cheap then pay $25 shipping lol. But maybe I'm wrong, there's a sucker born every minute.

Every retailer does it.

Before a 'sale' commences, everything returns to it's full RRP or recommended retail price.

Then the discount is applied to that.

FT sells below RRP most of the time which is why we all shop here, and at other online discounters.

It's nothing new, it's not wrong or illegal.

Just means some of us wee our pants a little at the thought of saving money by buying more shit we don't need.
Rage on you crazy diamond.

I said this before and I'll say it again. If FT just implement strikeout pricing like every other retailer, then they can look less sneaky when they raise the prices before a sale.

But they way they do it now makes them look shady even though everyone else does, but with the use of strikeout pricing.

If FT marketing and ecommerce depts are reading, pay attention to this.

"Every retailer does it."

I have seen plenty of times no movement in prices before a sale. FT does not even do it on ALL items. Maybe it isn't all them, maybe some items they have contracts not to mark things down past a certain level. It feels sneaky whenever I see it done, I am not a fan, but thinking about it more maybe there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for it.

How ever I look at it, it still comes out bullshit sneaky. No matter who does it or how many others. Trying to justify it with "everyone does it"......how lame.

I'm out.....have some fun. Eh?

There is no scam. The lower item price plus shipping is cheaper than the normal price with free shipping.
