do plastic tanks and containers have an "expiration date"?
i use this for my RTA SKU 9618134 and this for my liquids SKU 1485905
even though i have quantities of both,I've been using the same tank and bottle for a long time and have no apparent reason to swap them.
is there a point where even though they're still usable,i should change them because they surely degrade over time and may release idk what;maybe plastic particles toxins or whatever?

I wouldn't worry about it. If they still look good when empty, aren't cracked, swollen or damaged, they are probably fine. Certain eliquid flavors (lemon, banana, cinnamon...) may damage them but most won't.

You don't get a whole lot of choice with a third-generation Kayfun or Orchid - the quartz (glass) kits suck big time (they interfere with filling), and you can't see through the metal tank section. As for Ultem/PEI, nobody makes one.

Polycarbonate works just fine but you need to avoid tank-cracking flavors in it.

I never use "tank cracking" liquids.
I don't want even imagine what they could do to my lungs

You could fankenstein old kayfuns for glass or PEI. But you need a bunch of old (other) atomiser's parts for that ;)

Unless your lungs are made of rigid synthetic polymers, there's nothing to worry about. Well, except maybe cinnamon, which is an aldehyde and therefore potentially harmful for reasons having nothing to do with tank-cracking.

Dang, the only tank cracker aroma I was using... was cinnamon. And my lately bought one, just always made me coughing.

What about cloves? ;)
