What would you want in a 26650 mod?
Suggestions .. suggestions .. talking to someone who is willing to make a SS clone/original specifically to release on FT.

What would you want in a 26650 mod? Stainless Steel? Copper? Brass? Say it and we may have one soon. Gotta forward your suggestions to the modder ASAP :)

You know Andyk I've seen the stuff that's out there and it is like meh.. The Big Nasty is ok-ish but Imagine the sentinel m16 mechanical in SS and brass or copper and mixed verients with copper contacts and some cool etching like the Panzer in 26650 size and my wallet opens up like magic.. The mutant comes close but meh.. Functional, easy to make contact with the battery, fool proof, hard hitting, robust design that can take punishment.. Easy to make and cheap to buy..

yes a Panzer in 26650 would be cool.. The tiger heavy would be a awesome name.. The Russian T-34 was the best tank of ww2.. The other German variant was the Panther.. Food for thought..

So, here's what I understand:

Everyone wants a mech mod
A clone is preferred
Stainless Steel, Copper Contacts, etc
Different metal versions (SS, Al, Brass, etc)

Nobody wants one with some VV/VW, DNA20 chipset, etc? I'm just trying to know what people expect from a 26650 mod .. Don't wish to leave any stone unturned before I forward your suggestions :)

stainless steel, whatever the contact material copper or brass they want to be plated as per nemesis clones as a minimum, ideally something like rhodium or palladium

magnetic switch

as few areas of contact between pieces of metal as possible in the current path

as compact as a 26650 mech can be

something like a gp paps v2.5 or 3 but in 26650 with plated contacts and magnetic switch

I want a simple looking black 26650 mod that looks like a GIANT EGO TWIST. Just to screw with all the newbies and their ego's.

Just for me, I'd say that unless you're a HEAVY vaper, putting a 26650 in a variable device doesn't gain you anything REALLY useful besides size. For most folks, an 18650 variable device provides enough vape time, and just from what I've seen, most people (myself included) will generally swap batteries at the beginning or the end of the day anyway.

Now, DNA30 might be the one that could use the improvement, just because it seems they can kill a battery in a few hours at higher power levels.

Just give me the big nasty! Looks good. Big vape time. I dont want a vv/vw 26650 they look like sex toys. I get 2-3 days vape time on my mvp. Fits in the pocket too. Maybe a 26650 panzer so i can shove a 1000000 watt spot light on it and call batman!
