Skeeeets Member JoinedFeb 2014 Posts 10293 Reviews 257 Kudos6626	need help with a project. so i want an electric lighter for my tobacco pipes and i for the life of me cant find any that are suited for it, just for cigarettes. i want to put together a "lighter" that looks alright, trying to use an ego, wondering how i can go about it. i dont have any tanks or anything to spare so i will have to order a new peice. im hoping to cover/use the ego threads, and whatever else threads... if im using half of a old protank or w/e. would like to avoid using rubber grommets holding the coil legs, not sure what attys to even look at. would like some help, please :( edit to add: this would of ben perfect... but its discontinued SKU 1332302 Edited on 11/6/2016 at 9:16 PM. Skeeeets Member JoinedFeb 2014 Posts 10293 Reviews 257 Kudos6626	the sku i listed would of ben better, the coil mounts ATOP the posts vs. the sides. less crap to try and finnagle to get the heating wire into the pipe(s) think i might just skip the whole ecig idea, unless i can get this lighter diy made for a 510 connection. but i doubt a mod would read and/or even fire it. I'd imagine you'd be best off with a 1.6oHm KA1 nr-r-nr wire wrapped into a stovetop coil using that atty, so you can use the lead legs to more easily position it, and you could always build on the screw heads instead of the posts. I'd even consider significantly shortening the posts and screws, myself. What about a Kayfun Mini v2.1 base? Woah, mama! Working...
