Packages stuck in Los Angeles?
Hello, I ordered four separate items on February 23rd 2020 and I received one of the packages March 11th. That package came via New York and arrived relatively quickly. but the remaining three items have not arrived yet. It appears that they are still sitting in Los Angeles:

Is it normal for items passing through Los Angeles to be delayed so long?

Resolved: as of today, all packages (except for one) are moving normally inside USPS' network.

The one package that is in the USPS system (but not moving) belong to a customer who is not in this thread. We have contacted them directly via email and we're following up.

This is the final update on this matter. Thank you everyone for your patience.

wes_westhaver, thank you for your orders and your patience. We are asking the packages' carrier for more information now. I will post again here today, when I have more.

FastTech has just returned from a city-wide COVID lockdown this morning. Please bear with us as responses may take a bit longer today. Thank you for your patience.

I'm in the same situation. Have one stuck in Los Angeles since March 3; another since the 14th.

What really is frustrating is that a third package arrived in New York on March 13. Since I live on the East Coast, I figured I'd get it in a couple of days. Wrong -- on March 16th it was sent to Los Angeles, and arrived there on March 18.

Lost Angeles is looking like it's the black hole of shipping. Packages arrive there but never leave.

I assume that tracking info is from 17track?

Try searching the shipping number on postal ninja. It may reveal more information.

It's approaching the end of day here, so I would like to give an update on what was learned about this today.

@wes_westhaver and hazozita, your orders got shipped on the same day by the same carrier (US ePacket). It appears that a lot of the orders shipped on that day through that carrier got stuck at LA customs, so this is not just you.

In addition, that carrier aggregates packages from many vendors. All vendors' packages within that batch are suffering from the same customs delay.

We are still waiting for the carrier to look into the reason, and when we can expect them to move again. I will provide another update in about 12 hours.

EDIT: out of the orders FastTech shipped through US ePacket on Feb 24th, about 60 orders are currently spending a longer than usual amount of time at the LA customs. We are contacting all affected customers this morning to inform them of the situation.

Thank you for your patience. I will aim to provide daily updates on this here.

EDIT: The carrier is still looking into the matter. We are told that at least 3000 packages (of which about 60 are from FastTech) from the same flight are being held up at LA.

Well, one my packages arrived. It was the one (order D030732436) that arrived in NY, but was then sent to Los Angeles. Although the tracking stopped on 3/18 once it was in LA, it arrived today (East Coast US).

The bad news is that, once again, the wrong item was sent. Rather than an SXK MOBB Mini I got what appears to be a bike lock. The product SKU sticker on the bike lock is not even close to the SKU of the MOBB.

Two out of my last three orders have had the wrong item sent. Yes, FT does take care of it, but now I have to wait another 3-4 weeks (or more) to get what I ordered. While I know that shipping issues are often out of the control of FT, putting the right item into the package is MOST CERTAINLY within FT's control.

Ticket has been opened and pictures were attached. I unfortunately know the drill by now.

Sorry for the rant, but it's so very frustrating to finally get the package only to find out that it's the wrong item.
