Dear wendela and other friends,

We have updated the Tax Prepaid Option in the shipping step during checkout. Once you tick the "Opt-in to pre-pay EU taxes" checkbox, our Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) identification number will be applied to your order:

For more detail, please kindly refer to: Notice--Tax Prepaid Option For EU Countries Is Now Available.

Please feel free to contact here/live chat/in ticket for help if you have any concerns. Thank you.

In the example shown, the tax amount should be 19% of the total (good+shipping) for Germany, so 0.89 and not 0,10 ! You think the custom scanner is going to let that happen ? Then people pay the difference + Admnistrative fee (15 euro in Belgium) + minimum 2 weeks delay.

FT, are you serious ??

Hello Colin_Bruxelles,

We are aware of this problem and negotiating with the tax agency and the post office to check the re-taxed reason. If the recollection of taxes is due to inaccurate taxation, we will adjust to avoid such an issue. Thank you for your feedback.

Merci The_Masteres,

...but i was rather lacking some. Well, let's say at this point it's not much to do with luck, except for the part that I was away for 4 days!

Arrived home today with a notification waiting for me instead of the packet. About 12€ VAT.

Now the worst in this story, that previously I had an order from the UK (maybe 2 months ago), and before the package getting delivered I had an e-mail from the post office where they let me pay VAT online with reduced fees. Not this time...
If I was at home, I could've proceeded with the same, until midnight of the date of the first delivery. Now, that was 2 days ago :/

On a side note, I had an order from 2F maybe a month ago, paying the same fees at checking out, and everything was alright. No further taxes.

Fasttech, please spare me now from the "we are sorry for the issues" unless you're willing to reimburse me 12€. Or at the very least the 6$ I paid you at checking out with the order, as obviously, this doesn't work out very well. That makes almost 50%. I'm not kidding. Or that means - again- one customer less for you in the future.

Hi, cilika, sincerely sorry to hear about the issue. Do you know the re-taxed reason? Our tax agency wants to know more details of the cause of the issue. Or is it because of the strict customs security checking? Would you please check my email when you have time? We will resolve the issue for you as soon as possible. Thank you.

Hi, wendela, we don't put our customer's email on the shipping label. If you have this problem, you can ask the seller to check for you. Thank you.
