The Problem can been solved by Fasttech self with an Europe Warehouse, others (ex. Ali & Co) have them since month in Hungary, no problems with taxes or orders.

I am going to cancel my open order until FT will figure out a solution. I am not willing to pay for a mod the price of 35 USD and then another 20 or 30 for VAT + processing.

It looks like I made the right decision to refuse to pay the taxes and extra handling for delivery. After reviewing the invoice by the Belgian customs they did release the package. But I won't cry victory yet not before I received the package.

It is not possible for e.g. Ali to have all items in stock. They have thousands of sellers with millions of Items. Yesterday I have ordered some Items and choosed Poland/Spain->Germany and had to pay Tax ... Surprise :)

@Anniepan
Like said here before:
It is not only the Tax. Handling fee is e.g. 6€ for Germans(Deutsche Post). And they charge this, when they found a "problem", even when Tax was paid in advance. Missing invoice outside e.g., wrong customs tarriff number and so on. No problem for me, when I have to pay Tax. But this handling fee makes me to order at competitors, because they protect me for paying this fee.

Do not want to sound harsh, but ... Tax/IOSS was announced long time ago. Fine, that you are looking for a solution. But maybe start looking next time before sh*t happens. You are loosing money, because competitors are prepaired much better.

And when a buyer found another seller, maybe he will not come back to FT ...

@AlienGrey
Your tracking made me smile. Thanks for sharing :)

Doesn't matter where the goods are.
As long as the seller is outside the EU, the VAT tax applies.
Either the seller/market place get registered at the IOSS or the custom/postal service can ask for the Tax+fees.

I've got 3 PostNL packages arrived in the country of destination so I'll see what happen soon.

BPost charges €15 when the invoice is missing. That's how I ended up having to pay more for taxes and extra handling fee than what I paid for the order. I don't know anyone who is going to agree with that. :D

So I got my 3 PostNL packets today and with FT's PostNL order, that makes it 4 orders from china that went without a problem after the 1st July.

I still have 1 PostNL and 2 HK packages still on track.
And 1 PostNL lost...

So I'm half done with pre VAT/IOSS purchases.

I've received my order today from DHL and must pay taxes and handling fees. I must pay 26,81 Euro tax and handling fee direct to the DHL deliverer ... Based on the price from Fasttech and th taxes and fees it was the same price as in Germany for this item, in Grmany i've faster ...

I've become two other orders from China. One order from Ebay and one from Amazon. For booth item is must pay the same taxes and fees. The sellers have wrote before i order, that i must pay nothing, while they send from german warehouse. That was not correct. Amazon say's that not their problem with taxes and china sellers.

bye bye asian sellers, i've have enought ....

Hello GermanCloudVaper,

We will write the IOSS number on the package to solve the problem. So you also can send ticket to remind our staff to add a note for you. Thank you.

In my case and other cases it's to late.

Fasttech knew in advance that the tax reform would come into effect on July 1st and did not try to get an IOSS number beforehand. Only after the first customers reported about taxes and processing fees did Fasttech take action.

That was far too late and since other china sellers have already claimed me in other cases, that the goods are being delivered from german warehouses, which they did not do, I do not believe Fasttech in this case either that they will print a valid IOSS number and i even assume them, that you will later say, that you have forgotten the imprint.

In other forums and rating portals you can already find innumerable posts according to which Asian sellers have promised european customers everything possible, just so that they will that european customers buy. Almost nothing was held. With this behavior towards me, the Asian sellers have very disappointed my trust in them all.

Sure, it there will certainly be enough customers who will perhaps write here how great the shopping experience they have made with asian sellers, but my experiences were not the best. I'm sorry if i can't find anything positive about droppoint deliveries from asia at the moment, so the asian sellers currently have a lot to do to regain the trust of most european customers, which they have so easily gambled away only to make buiseness and fast money.

Ordering overseas always had a risk of getting hit by customs, because we are importing.
Especially by using DHL/FEDEX/UPS.

Just got my PostNL and 2 HK packages, so out of my mid-june 17 orders, I got 14 of them without trouble after the 1st July.
Still 2 packets and 1 lost PostNL still out there. I was right to take the chance.

Custom/post still can't be arsed to check parcels but with IOSS I'll get taxed at the source anyway. :/
