UK Shipping
Anyone having any joy with deliveries to the UK?

I've 7 out there currently, some didn't ship all that long ago, so they're not too bad atm

One arrived in England and embarked on an 18 mile trip, 3 weeks ago

2 are held at the local depot with them denying their existence (it's a mess down there tbh)

& another's arrived in the UK in 7 days

At least some of yours have arrived in the UK, Mine are in limbo.
Currently I have five, all sitting in hong kong or in cyberspace somewhere...
Here's an example, one sitting in hong kong since 14th of March without moving....

I'm sure these packages are being put in a two week quarantine then getting stuck at backlogged sorting centres then waiting to get chucked on a plane or truck

How that one breezed through to the UK is beyond me

It's been said in numerous threads on the same problem recently; shipping is very much a hit-or-miss situation right now.

Inexplicably, a small random number of items do seem to breeze through the system, seemingly unaffected. Indeed, I've had one myself!

For the majority of stuff however, there are a number of choke points in the shipping line at present (vendor getting the item to the carrier, carrier processing, logistics to the next processing centre, processing and storage at the airline departure point, processing at the airline arrival point, backlogs at the RM customs facility, backlogs at your RM sorting office etc).

It's a pain in the bum I know, but until such time as restrictions are eased or lifted at the various shipping and processing points, we've no real alternative but to kick our heels and just keep checking the tracking info every so often. It will ease up, but we just don't know when right now...

Seemed pretty much OK in March but now, according to me old mate Ogilvy:

The chances of anything coming from Mars FastTech are a million to one he said ... or so it would seem going by the near total lack of any relevant positive movement so far this month :P

But looking on the bright side, when the restrictions are finally lifted, there will likely be an absolute glut of packages bombarding people of stuff currently trapped in limbo. :-)
