Are Epacket to Canada no longer good?
I've been ordering epackets from here since 2013. They always get to me in Toronto within 5-7 business days.

2-3 business days for shipping within China
1-2 business days to get to Canada from China
2-5 business days to get to me once it's in Canada, depending on whether it landed in Ontario or in BC.

I ordered something from here on Black Friday. I have a couple of other epackets in the mail from AX.

It took the usual 2-3 business days for shipping within China.

But then they left China and none of them have arrived in Canada yet. It's been 3 business days for the FT package, and 8+ business days for the others.

At first I thought it's just the Christmas / Black Friday rush. Then I did a quick search and it seems like epackets are month long affairs now, if not longer.

Anybody here have any recent experience shipping to Canada? If Epacket is not it anymore, what's the new quickest and cheapest method to Canada?

All my e-packets have been fine so far, without any problem.

BUT, Canada Post is badly backed up at the moment.
I ordered a few One Shots out of BC that were shipped expedited post last Monday, scheduled to arrive Thursday and they are all still sitting in Mississauga.
I am guessing Tuesday.

Other than that I do have a couple of e-packets in transit at the moment but am expecting some delay due to the Black Friday sales, and Xmas.

Black Friday sales are still ongoing so expect a bit of a wait.

* Last few months I was counting on 14-15 days from China to a mailbox I use in Toronto. Not had one take longer than that.
For me, again, the backup seems to be the time they take to post the parcel once it hits Canada Post. 14 days. 8 day e-packets are long gone.

I've just received a couple of ePackets from another vendor that took about two weeks (plus a weekend). On the other hand, most of the rest of my life has sort of come apart at the seams over the same period, so all of my luck seems to have been used up in the low-cost shipping lottery. I'm not absolutely certain that's the way I would have apportioned things had I been asked.

I have a few coming from somewhere else I paid $5 shipping but they seem to be coming PostNL. Not sure how that will work out but they were on sale at good prices so even at $5 they were bargains.

Will be interesting to see how slow they might take to arrive .

The last several E-Packet to Canada order's I have made, have taken longer than they used to! I have noticed, every thing lands on the west coast lately.
For the longest time 6 to 10 days & my items were in my mail box, when things landed in Ontario, now 2 weeks plus is normal for E-Packet from China :(

I've been finding ePackets are taking 3 to 4 weeks for about the last year or so. I did a couple of PostNL's recently and they actually seem much faster - they usually arrive in about 14 days. As always, the problem really seems to be Canada Post. I find packages hung up in either Richmond BC or Mississauga at the Gateway facility for sometimes 7 to 10 days.

I found the Epacket to take much longer during the late Summer and Fall, some taking over a month. The last one was not too bad. Anniepan needs to start cracking the whip though I think. I've had an order sitting for over a week now, and not a single change. Nothing ready to be shipped, nothing out of stock, or given a time to arrive, just "order received". A week is too long.

Nothing in the order is at all exotic, nothing I can't order elsewhere and see shipped in 2 days. If it isn't shipped soon, I'll cancel it.

If I were to guess, as it is only Dec 9th I'd be inclined to believe you will receive it at least a few days before Xmas. Perhaps by the 20th or so.
Hopefully sooner. They will add seasonal workers. But once it actually shows up in the system for BC, you are half way there.

Its a hit and miss as to whether my packages land in Mississauga after BC, or land in East York.
East York is my preference for then they move much faster.
They seem to drop into a hole for several days in Mississauga.

Either way I believe you will receive it before Xmas.

and the postNL is still sitting at pre advised as of the 6th it finally got to pre advised. I would have rather waited another month to ship as epacket (what I paid for) than postNL, my last postNL package took 2 months to finally get to Canada then sat in customs for almost 2 months.... and that was mid summer not holiday time.
I’m so fucking pissed, if it was some $20 package I wouldn’t care but it’s a $250 knife I wanted to get for Xmas. If it was shipped epacket the same day as my other knife that shipped epacket I would have had it two weeks ago now. Five days my last epacket was, now I’m looking at 5 months for this fucking postNL.
