Funny aside about Biden being Irish....being Irish American for most in the US doesn't really mean anything aside from drinking green beer on St. Patrick's day, but, in Philly the Irish community there is still very connected to the old country, and Biden has always been hugely popular with them as throughout his career he's butted into UK politics re: Irish unification. He's been pissing off Tories for years and leaving all the other US pols scratching their heads as to why he even cares to involve himself. It is indeed a testament to Trump's clusterfuck 4 years that Biden, who is milquetoast supreme, spanked him that bad. It was the right thing to do, and honestly, Trump would have never left Afghanistan - his staff would have out-smarted and overrode his chance to do so - not to mention we might finally get to have Trump's long-promised "Infrastructure Week".(maybe) Biden will look much better when/if he gets his own turncoat party members inline...the Virginia Governor's election might be a wake-up call to Manchin and Sinema....contrary to Trump and many GOP members, voting really DOES work.
