What children......
Can't anyone be original these days?

No, I've got it spot on.......

Here in Australia Pfizer is for people under the age of 50.
Anyone over the age of 50yo receives the Astra Zeneca vaccine.

That sounds SO STRANGE......................
Thanks to Still.Me for that info.

Last I knew, India was clocking up 25,000 new cases a day.

I do wish that's incorrect......

Seems to be a sore spot here as we have several international flights daily coming in from India.

So I have heard.

But truthfully I stuck my head in the sand months ago.
My world ATM is very small but I like it that way.
Don't have to deal with all the stress of people out on the streets.

Good thing we don't have as many guns here as in the US.
People are a bit too stressed for my liking.

On a different note, a great tune from down your way, or, at least in Melbourne.

The blood clotting happens from 4 to 7 days after the Jab.
However, you are more likely to get the same thing sitting for long periods of time on the lounge, or on an overseas flight..........

I think we have only had 2 cases here in Canada and I believe both survived.

You can get blood clots from aspirin.
The vaccines might at this stage be far from perfect but best to get everyone inoculated ASAP.

The roll out here has been so criminally slow, partly due to the love of regulations here that it has caused the numbers to spike dangerously.

Thats why most of us that had one jab, were then delayed our second, in order that more people at least received the first.

In short, worth the risk.

Not that there's anything wrong with mexicanos.

If I lived in Queensland I could call everyone down the east coast of the Aussie coast "Mexicans"

It's just Aussie Slang.

In fact I've two great employee's being of that culture.
Both great workers, never late, both earning over AU $32 per hour.

Love the food cooked by Mrs Mexicano, both children are polite and I think better educated than I.

No problem as I am not at all familiar with the differences between one city or another in Australia but not getting the Mexican angle.

This music would have originated in Jamaica and then to the UK, etc.

Anyhow gotta run. This is the first day in ages I have had more than 90 min to myself to browse the web, FT, YT, etc but feeling a bit lazy after sitting so long so gotta go take the pup out and wake up again.

Back on topic, glad to hear so many are getting their vaccines.

Cheers...

A very good friend has been in the ICU for over week w/ covid. He's on high level O2 and has developed pneumonia.
He caught it within a week of getting his second pfizer.

Thanks poulw,

Wishing that friend the best.
It does take a lot of time to get back to normal.
He will need more encouragement and care when released from hospital.
Good friends are hard to find, so take care of the ones you have.

Stay well my friend.
