In Italy the situation is looking better.
Only 2 new cases, no deaths.

231 cases, 7 deaths

I've spoke too soon....
270 cases, 41 new cases from yesterday till today.

So, if in Italy, where are only 50.000 afected people the infection rate is 90 cases per day
then in China, where was 11 millions then the rate is at least 2000 people per day.

When they put on lockdown 60 millions people then the infection rate was/is around 12000 people per day and this is only on first week of this virus manifestation.

The oficial reports are 77,663 cases for China only....
Maybe for one city, I can do 1 plus 1.
If only one city have around 11 millions people the virus was spread more easily, because of dense population.

Ps- from today morning another 13 new cases in Italy.
283 - total cases.

with more than 40 persons till now, mostly childrens.

Those children got parents, parents go to work, there are colleagues,
colleagues got also family, neighbours and goes to shopping in supermarkets
and travel by train or subway....

Pot is under the pressure.

The question is, why the worldwide situation seems to improve, see:
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/coronavirus-death-toll/
2770 death worldwide, 2715 death in China Mainland at 16:00 UTC.

If you believe the official numbers posted there.. then is your choice.
I don't believe anything posted as 'official' from China.

Do yourself a math calculation based on Italy rates of infections
and you'll have the rought numbers of real infection cases in China.

And Italy got no cities of 11 millions people, are only small cities of 15-20 thousand peoples.

Italy - 382 confirmed cases (59 new cases) - 17:00

Feb. 26: 382 cases (17:00)
Feb. 25: 322 cases
Feb. 24: 229 cases
Feb. 23: 157 cases
Feb. 22: 79 cases

Don't know where you got that from. According to Wiki, there are 144 cities in Italy with populations of 50.000 or more.

I just need one more flashlight. Just one. Honestly. :D

Yes, the situation is not logic, too many cases in Italy in a very short time,
some people say because they have a lot of chinese workers in their clothing industrie.
We have to wait for true EU charts, but there are not yet any special EU-charts in the news.

Infected area from Italy was with 50.000 people, rural area, check the internet.
In that region are only small towns.

San Fiorano - 1800 people
Fombio - 2200 people
Maleo - 3300 people
Codogno - 16.000 people.

and so on.
As you can see on the list are only small cities/regions.
In Veneto are 4.5 millions but for the moment people there are relaxed.

In the 11 million Wuhan city the virus could spread very fast, easy to understand.
But why so fast in this special rural area in Italy?
We are not talking about Mailand and Rom.

Edit: and all borders from Italy to EU are still full open and they dont want to close.
Are they crazy?
