Anyone else subscribed to his emails? As usual lots of nice stuff again this year.

I was sure I already had a sufficiently large enough pile of knives to choose from but my god, the Ouroboros.

I love the Lava for it's amazing grip due to the bulbous back end and I love the Junior for how nice it is to control with your hand directly behind the blade. The Ouroboros has both attributes and looks roomier than the Junior. I just can't say no.
If I'm ignoring you it's because you're fallacy impaired. Here's hoping you rectify your problem so that we might have a sensible conversation.

Every time I consider buying another knife, I remember that my Manix 2 LW has yet to fail me.

I have a built in excuse. I do different jobs where a specific style of knife is the best tool. I even use an Ulu about once a month. Granted I might not need 5 of each style but backups are good, no?

I wish the Rock Salt came in black, but the Magnitude and Ouroborus will find a space in my collection for sure.

One is none, and two is one ;-)

I have an inkling the Ouroborus is going to feel a bit like the Civilian in the hand - the way the grip narrows before the pivot.

Just as an aside, I recently picked up a Kershaw Asset speed-safe on sale for £20 in the UK. Not the prettiest scales I've ever seen, but shaving sharp out of the box, the usual switchblade like efficiency of the speed-safe system, solid lock up, and outstanding ergonomics. Lovely scimitar/modified Bowie blade style, with the flipper forming a solid finger guard. Could do with gimping on the spine, but that can be added very easily. Probably won't replace my Needs Work EDC, but a lovely piece for next to nothing. I've paid a lot more, and got a lot less in the past. As much as I'm a Spyderco devotee, I have to say that I've never owned a bad Kershaw, Gerber, or CRKT. I do like having 'Seki city' on a blade though ;-)

One of the emails was a 2016 Rock Salt production sample with orange scales.

Yeah, if it was Black and not orange, I'd be throwing money at the screen. There are a couple of other nice fixed blades in the list as well, but assuming the Rock Salt is a part of the Salt zero corrosion line (I didn't read the spec, but I would say it's a safe bet) then that would definitely be a 'must have' knife.

The Sustain and Jumpmaster II are both pretty nice on paper. Not sure about the skinny scales though.

Needs work is one I've almost bought since it came out. I agree there's some real nice Kershaws, CRKT Gerber etc. I think Kershaw is probably the best quality bang for the buck on the market.
