Whoops, I completely missed the "DHL bit" in your previous post. Falsely took it for a new fee our customs came up with...
Anyway, i see photos of the packages under my orders, but i have no idea if those are correctly declared, because you can barely read text on those high compressed jpgs :/

Nah, just kidding. ;P

IIRC, their standard tactic is to declare everything as "electronic parts", along with random numbers that sum up to less than ~20usd total.
Which still doesn't necessarily mean that your shipments will be among the ones DHL picks for an extra detour through customs; most stuff slips through, and their search heuristics are based on a statistic database called ZORA (Risikoanalyse Zoll) - if FT's ranking got better, your chances also got better.

I see the German laws are on par with most of the UN nations. Gotta love how walking outside while dicing onions essentially makes you a criminal.

The law in Germoney is absolutely pathetic. You can not have a proper knife but you can go to the Garden tools Center buy an axe or very popular these days because of the actual situation, a nice machete. Then put it in your backpack, add some garden gloves or similar garden work accessory and there you go full ninja.

Also, you can not buy a big slaughter knife under age 18 but you can buy an axe or machete.

weird old Germoney.

Germany might be a bit more strict but unfortunately, what you are stating is true in pretty much any western country to a certain extent.

Both packages arrived today, everything is fine.
I'm really impressed how fast the delivery was (10 days). All my previous China purchases in other online shops took almost a month to arrive.

Hope my last knive orders will also arrived within 2-3 weeks. The 20% discount (2 weeks ago) was to good not to shop a few things. Orders are shipped two days ago, now I have to wait.

Very true, seven orders waiting to be shipped/in transit - not all knives, some spudgers..
Isesame for one and a whole kit for very small money.
