Ok, but:
1 - We are too lazy.
2 - We don't care (yet).
3 - We are too stupid.
4 - We don't know shit about this.
5 - Why change something when is ok like this (at least for us)?
6 - It's too complicated, can we send an horsemen or some pigeons?

It might have been overlooked but its likely in their interest to have as many "customers" listed as possible, especially upon transfer of the company or sale, if and at such times that might exist.

I doubt anyone interested in buying a company would give a shit (sic) how many dead, dormant or back-up spam accounts there are crammed on a back room server. Other than to show the adverse effects that allowing career trolls, shit-posters and spammers free rein can have on projected sales...

“We also have a forum as part of the website”

“What for?”

“So people can discuss the things they buy”

“So do they?”

“Erm...sometimes. The rest of the time it’s just attention seeking trolls and shitspammers being asked to STFU...”

“Does it add value?”

“Not really”

“So why mention it, it’s just full of pictures of chicks shitting. Close it IDGAF”

The forum might be a much smaller part of it than we realize.

New ownership would just look at the overall figures.

Why do people pay money to purchase Likes and/or fake accounts and the sort for Instagram, FB, Twitter, etc.

$$$ Bottom line.

Because there are 1 billion registered FB users, 100 million people use Instagram every month.

FT forum has zero commercial value.

If it had there would be adverts, obviously...

You dont sell the forum but the bottom dollar value + customer base.

The forum would almost be irrelevant I would think.

Think about it again.
Why would a commerce such as FT even think about selling adverts to competitors ?

When you search for something FT is selling, what do the search engines show you first when there is a popular thread about it ?

The forum users are the ones advertising theirs goods...

Sorry OP the shit spam has been going on since mid September. If Fasttech intended to do anything they would have done so years ago. They are cheap so a software upgrade to fix this forum is very unlikely. The forum will likely be spammed daily with crap until:

1. Anneipan leaves her job due to being forced to clean up shit porn all day. Then they will just shut it all off rather than lose another employee.

2. A country or internet provider blocks this website for distributing illegal and unadvertised porn. Then others will follow suit and fasttech is history

3. They finally realize they are spending too much labor on their archaic manual forum cleaning and decide to just shut off all but the admin forums.

I suspect at one point they will shut off most of the forums if things continue to go down hill. It is currently eroding profit rather than generating it. It's the easiest and cheapest solution.

Use captcha or recaptcha everytime user post a comment or create thread, what about that?
