"is not "apples to oranges", it's a direct, fair comparison"

OK you win the Valkyrie is just a better RTA all around, the Diesel actually has good craftsmanship though it's not to far off the quality of the Valkyrie. Quality in the craftsmanship is sadly just part of the whole thing though, the design is where the real difference is and the design of the Diesel is where it is not as good. None of my complaints have been about it's craftsmanship just on it's design flaws. It did have more craftsmanship issues, but then they went back and fixed some of them. Like I said hopefully a V2 will come out and fix the easily fixable issues with it.

TFMT was that 2016?

"Like what you like, but basing quality on price is a bit naive. You'll be disappointed if you expect 50.00 extra in quality when you buy one, so buyer beware!"

I unlike you bought both, and have both right now. I am not disappointed at all. Feel like you feel about it. I guess you think I was tricked, lol. Nah, I saw the price, and the RTA and thought that is worth it, I like that, then it got here and I have enjoyed using it. Maybe one day a clone will come out and you can try one and see some what, what the differences are in the two. It's not just 50.00 in metal. It's so weird how you accuse others of being "naive", but can't seem to see past just the metal. Design is the biggest pro/con of the whole thing. If it wasn't, wouldn't we still be using RTA's from 10 years ago happily?

I have owned enough clones to know that allot of the time, they are pieces of crap. I get it you like to feel like your clones and the authentic came out of the same shop. That you have some inside track on what is good, that is great. I can't say I know that is never the case... There are great clones, and allot of shit clones, allot of shit clones. Anyone with experience here knows that. Case in point the Reload S you were showing off in the vape porn thread, I am sure it was the clone, and I had the authentic and the clone, the clone was a piece of shit. It literally went into the trash. So these days 95% of the time, I just buy authentic. It worked to show off, but you and I both know it was ass in a box. The authentic however, was pretty good. Not as good as the Eclipse. Buy less, but more authentic and you will figure some of this stuff out and have allot more usable quality gear. The money you save not buying crap, and only getting quality gear is so much better in the long run.

What am I saying if it is good enough, and it makes you happy get every color of broken barely usable gear you want. I don't see the point in you being upset though about me not following in your footsteps and buying clones. I have already gone down that road, I have seen all there is to see. 5% of the time, I still take a look, most of the time I find crap.

Hopefully this doesn't come off in a way that starts an argument between us. It's been nice chatting with you. I was going to re-read it to make sure how I said it, was fine or whatever, but then I thought about how you felt like Skeeets, could take whatever you said how ever you felt like saying it. So I figured you were good to just take it however I wrote it and not get butt hurt.

Your oldest mods have boost.

Yes, I understand that but not having to have given thought to "boost" until recently, it caught me by surprise once I had purchased one without.

LOL I am far from an electronic whiz. I buy what I like and make it work. No idea why, technically that it does, but that it does is good enough for me.

A couple of months ago I purchased a great electronic dirt-bike that had come highly recommended by Americans. I didn't take into account they have regulations to speed and such that we do not.
Got it home and realized I was a bit too short at 5'4 for it. Needed to be at least 5'6.
Why did it not please me?
Electronically I couldn't begin to tell you.

My partner put on 150 miles and since then the bike has gone up $400 so I might flip it this week. My partner didn't care much for it either. He could tell you why but I tuned it out.

Super73-RX

So today just purchased a better one. Hopefully when it arrives later tonight I can fit it properly.
Suran Light Bee X

Amazing what we broke ass vapers can purchase easily while listening to you drone on and on about a $400 mod.
😂

Not sure the difference in that "Suran Light Bee X", and the other Suran bikes are, but I have been checking out the e bike stuff a bit, they look like allot of fun. The Suran I was checking out has allot of upgrades you can do to it. Hopefully yours is the same. The Sur-Ron X is I think what I was looking at. Google is telling me that all the different names are essentially the same bike. They look like a ton of fun on trails or for street riding and do pretty damn good top speeds when upgraded. Check out the bike on youtube if you haven't yet.

Trying not to make purchases like that right now, my wife and I are unsure what we are doing next. We have at least a year to figure it out.

I am the wrong person to ask as to the difference between models but the one I just got was the top of their line so I went with that.

I sent my partner to get it as I did not want to ride it on busy roads during rush hour first time out and he loves it. I met him at a local park where I could test it out but there turned out to be a large group of children after school there so he took it home for me and I walked Oskar home.
This is meant for trails but if you wanted to ride it on the streets its as fast as any car with great torque so you needn't worry about someone behind you creeping up your backside.

Again, I could have used an inch in height so I will only ride it on the trails but it is far superior to the Super 73-RX which is already spoken of well.

But the 73-RX comes with pedals whereas the Suran does not and is considered a straight out motorbike so one has to be careful on the roads.
Yes tons of upgrades available as well on the Suran models

Just be sure your wife is at least 5'5.

You have plenty of time to buy one or two. I am quite a bit older than you and I think that in 3-5 years when I am done with this bike, I will be a bit too old to consider a new one. If I survive this one. 😛

The guy on youtube, I think his has pedals. I think they are needed to skirt around some of the legalities. I am no expert though, I have not spent much time looking into it for here.

Would it work for someone that is 6'2-6'3? Isn't your husband tall? I thought I remembered something about that.

My wife has no interest in them yet.

Yes there is an add on you can purchase to have pedals. Even though one here does not use them it allows you to skirt the attention of police. I will play it by ear and see if he rides this one at all himself on the roads but he has very little time to do that, so time will tell. If I use it strictly on the trails, or even if only 5% of the roads in order to get to the trails I would rather not have them. But I might change my mind.

He is 6ft and it's fine for him.

"He is 6ft and it's fine for him."

That is great news, when I see people reviewing ebikes so much of the time it is some little person, or if they are tall they are just some lanky very thin tall person.

"or even if only 5% of the roads in order to get to the trails I would rather not have them. But I might change my mind."

Yeah I would prefer not to have them, but I guess it would be good if it ever runs out of power some place. Ill need to check out the laws where ever it is we end up living. Should be a really fun bike, keep me posted how you like it.

Trust me. You don't want to have to solely use a pedal on these scooters. Much too heavy.

They are only good as a pedal assist. So slight pedalling but the battery really driving you. But with the slight pedalling you can conserve power.

I ride in the city, only 2-3 hours at most a time and due to Oskar, likely even less than I would have before him so running out of battery power isn't an issue for me.

Eternal, honestly, I think you are just trying to be argumentative, and not authentic. You have lied from the beginning - originally stating "I haven't seen a good review" (of the Diesel), then to "I try to match a good mix of reviews before any purchase", to " I didn't watch any videos, just bought this off C4W's recommendation".

Nice try, but you and I BOTH know what you were initially trying to do - trying to discredit me, invent "issues" that aren't issues, and generally try to poo-poo on the Forum/product in general with your day 1, reactionary nonsense. It's got an unscrewable top-cap - nothing new. It's got a postless deck - nothing new.

New to you is not a review. That's all. I couldn't care less if I thought you really disliked it, but that's really not the case, is it? If you actually own the Valkyrie, why wouldn't you post a photo in the Vape Gear thread? A picture is worth 1,000 words, you know? I've never even seen it, but know it contains a PEI insert that many dislike - that's the totality of my knowledge - but still, it's a 25.00 Chinese atty.

If this is argumentative to you, it's just you. I'm a direct, no bull-shit person. Hate dishonesty and false info, no matter the source.

No false info here.

"Nice try, but you and I BOTH know what you were initially trying to do - trying to discredit me, invent "issues" that aren't issues"

What issues aren't issues? All the issues I have with it, I have with it still, day one to what ever day it is today. I am not attempting to discredit anyone, I just gave it a review. I think a V2 would be great, fix the stupid fill method with the Chimney that pops out, get a better straight glass, put longer screws in the deck at least so they are not sunken so far into it, and make them cross points or hex. Change the outer airflow to little holes instead of the big slot to help even more with the noise and feeling of the airflow. Make the fill holes wider so my bottle tip fits in better.

I am not saying it is crap, it is cheap and not bad, it is still on my desk in use just filled it up. Did I also fill up the Valkyrie and one of my A V3s, yes I did. Not sure how any of that discredits you. The issues I have with it, I still have with it. They should have fixed these things, I don't blame you personally for the issues it has. If you live with an RTA for years, you probably don't think when you recommend it to say things like oh the fill method will bring the chimney along for the ride... I made that point to tell you I don't blame you. I said it works, it is just weird. It has a part with knurling before the airflow, that could not look more like where it logically comes apart, it isn't about you, it is about the design.

Its like how sensitive to your needs do I have to be to communicate with you... It is weird how the one time I just say things and don't re-read my post four times looking for things that might hurt your feelings, here you are with hurt feelings. Also I put your post below we all know how much you love that edit button. My point with saying that is, "It's so simple. My "conversation" is just fine. I can't spell it out any simpler." treat people how you want to be treated, or you will keep being seen as a stupid fucking little asshole all over the forum Nate. Hopefully a "I'm a direct, no bull-shit person." can appreciate that directness.

The useless 2ml straight glass is a direct result of TPD regulations - I don't know if there were separate European and 'rest of the world' editions that came with two bubble glasses when this was originally released, if it was then this is obviously the TPD version - but the 2ml straight glass isn't a fault as such, it's a necessity caused by malignant European vape regulations. It could be worse - the UK and EU have had this crap for the last 5 years and having to source alternative glass or import non-TPD versions is a must for every vaper over here.

Not arguing - I just find it slightly entertaining that Americans occasionally gripe about useless glass being provided as standard, but it could be worse - if all we could buy is what is technically legal in the US, we'd all be screwed.
