Ok cool. I got it now. Obviously one of those pics is not of my BB. Accidentally put it in there. Thanks for the help.

awesome! yes, it can be a little frustrating, removing/customizing panels, buttons etc....but you learn every time!

I suppose you noticed that your screws were not tight enough...you can use a toothpick or Qtip stem to stick through the panel hole, gently push down, and tighten! Would not risk using anything metal...please!

good work, and NICE Billet!

If you still can't get to seat properly, leave OUT the button, and see if everything goes in place properly...then, undo and add the button- it has to be perfect.

I really see nothing wrong, you just need to stuff it in there, and tighten...do it slowly, and check for operation WHILE you tighten, to check, and waste as little time as possible.

the button strip has a perfect indention for where it has to be. If it takes you a drop of super glue, so be it! apply on another surface, and use that toothpick to "paint" a dot of glue on the mod...then, STICK it!

Agvain, I don't do this, I just put it in place and lock it down, using a toothpick to push the ribbon that sticks out into the proper place.

Yeah it was the "floaty" board. Once I pressed down on it with some force(a good amount more than what I had been using on it) it kinda "clicked" into place and stayed firm to where it wasn't "bouncy" anymore. So I got everything back together and it was all flush, BUT, as soon as I put a battery in and hit the fire button once the wattage would automatically scroll down to 1 watt. I'm sure nothing is hitting the up and down buttons on the main board and the little board below the ip and down buttons on the other side looks fine as well. Everything is clean, as this is brand new. I'm about to give up. Put in a ticket with the retailer, but not sure how that will go.

slightly loosen the screws half a turn, each one. See if that helps.

It does it with the whole screen side inner removed. Loosening the fire button side inner screws didnt make a difference.

Yeah it won't even turn on now. It does nothing when I put a battery in. If I plug it in via USB the little red LED lights up but the screen doesn't turn on and Escribe doesn't recognize it. The vendor wants me to send it back for warranty. I guess that's my only real option, but shipping to China ain't cheap. Thanks for all your help.

Yep, sounds like all the poking around damaged the ultra fragile screen ribbon connection, though it may have simply came loose. If you are in the US, a faster, cheaper option is EVOLV. Of course, it has to be a DNA60 version, not a SEVO 70.

Making a ticket at EVOLV will give you an answer in 48 hours usually. Shipping to OHIO is cheap and service is usually free.
