It'll be as good as any, but 1.0mm is at tight as it gets. If you vape 50/50 or thinner, this 400 mesh SKU 2080200 is a nice size to work with; 300 in a smaller piece SKU 2114300 works well for 50/50 as well and for thicker juice. Note: you'll want to buy mesh elsewhere if you have any aims to try rolling on the bias or doing U-wicks in other tanks, since nothing sold here is big enough. (You can get it as "filter mesh" in 30cm x 30cm/1' by 1' sheets up to 54" by several hundred feet rolls. You, um, probably won't really need the latter option.)

It finally arrived. A simple semi-hollow accordion mesh roll was sufficient for excellent wicking. It wicks so well that I assume that ordinary mesh roll would do just fine.
To my surprise, building a coil was a much bigger problem. Hight between posts is small (much smaller than any other genie I saw) and it is necessary to make a coil that is very slightly spaced, four or maximally five wraps, with legs perpendicular to the building rod. That is the way to avoid hot spots. I first make a coil and then put mesh roll, because it is much easier for cleaning it after usage.
On the Russian forum, I read that the best way to oxidize mesh is to 1. put it in very salty water 2. oxidize 3. wash under running water 4. oxidize again...and I must say that this works great.
I was hoping that, due to its really reduced chamber, it would give a better aroma than Paravozz but that is not true. But still, it's better than 99% of cotton rta-s.
That is my taste only, not trying to start an argument.

First time lucky :
Did my very first genesis build and got it right in no time. TBH it was not with this S61... it should arrive any time now but I got the in’ax carto v2 clone from another vendor ($8.99 couldn’t resist that !)arrived last night and I’m proud to say I nailed it.
Great vaping experience after adjusting the pg/vg ratio to a 325 mesh I found at the hardware store.
Thanks to you guys for prompting me into this new experiment.

And the S61 arrived this morning and it’s great. Dead easy coil building and mesh wicking, 3 minutes tops and excellent vape from a spherical chamber, with a tight airflow hitting super close the the coil.

Im impressed.
