Lost and Found

Finally arrived, after a longer than normal trip. I will cut to the chase and say the vape is quite similar to the V1, with maybe a tad more airflow in its largest setting (rdl inserts are separate purchase). Don't expect any big surprises, but it's a good vape with a few changes...

The included drip tip is too narrow, and matched with the MTL sized chimney neck, causes slight slurpiness and juice tasting....you may need to change it, depending on your set up.

I also see why many broke their tanks...but I love the ability to slide the tank up and off after removing the top cap....nice touch. Also nice are the two grooved channels above the juice holes, allowing the chamber to be as large as possible while providing room for wicking. All my o rings fit and work well out of the box, and popping the entire tank off to access the deck is a quick twist.

The air inserts work well. I have no issues with the inserts, but they could be knocked out when cleaning, so pay attention. All of the four I have fit fairly well, and only come out if flipped upside down and shaken 4 or 5 times....nothing serious, but not secured with an o ring or anything. All of my experience tells me this is a close 1 to 1, and the laser etching on the side and bottom of the deck looks legit.

Biggest flaw so far is a slightly small drip tip recess...many of my 510 tips are too tight...it's a real struggle on my Skyline. Aftermarket coppervape tanks fit perfectly.

Flavor is good, wicks need to be thinned, and overtightening small wires will snap them easily -- some observations after 2 builds, lol.

Is this a Monarch J3S DL? Not even close.
But it's good, can't imagine an authentic being any better than this 23.00 atty.

your photo illustrates how "off" the juice control "triangle" can look from certain angles. It's a good looking atty, from the right perspective!

I'm enjoying it overall, third tank full of Straw Mac, and the flavor is really coming around.

@DJ Ulton? Seem OK? laser engravings?

Yeah, that's one of my subjective cons, the sharp Mazda rotary shaped jfc top. I just received it today along with the black Coilturd An RDA For Vaping clone. The logos and airflow inserts are laser engraved. I haven't built either of them and tried them out yet. I'll post my reviews and more pics in the next couple of days.

As far as the SXK version goes, it's pretty damn solid. As I mentioned before in a discussion, this whole "loose insert" thing is a non-issue. After put into use, the inserts dont fall out, period, just like the original, and probably any other version that comes later.

The topcap may befuddle new users a little as well...to unscrew the top for filling, only grasp and turn the round topcap. The wedge shaped JFC will operate independently, but will come off with the topcap, turning that too much will cause the topcap to come apart. I like the smooth operation of the JFC, though wish mine was a little stiffer...those who work and are constantly removing and replacing their setup to a pocket may find the JFC closed, or open, or somewhere in between...maybe not the ideal pocket tank.

The SXK suffers from a MTL drip tip only, with no wider bore on offer. Most of the later brand clones have added both tips to the package. The weird photos of insulators are not on display on my version...it's actually pretty flawless from a machining standpoint.

Be careful changing glass! it can be broken easily if not careful. Once the topcap is off, that's it! Simply slide the glass straight up and off...older users of VapeWare's NextEra rdta will be familiar. it's quick and easy, but if you don't slide it evenly....crack!
